The pair forming Double Dealer sat on a bench together, nobody was messing with them cuz they had just chased off the couple who was here earlier. That was actually pretty fun! Unfortunately now they just got a text from some higher up in the Keepers to review and gather whatever information they can about supers, including the supers in the Keepers. Now the woman narrowed her eyes, attempting to remember what they've both found while using her and her partner's mental link to have a conversation.
'Who do we even got in the Keepers? Are any, like, funny?'
'Obviously! There's that weirdo Azoth with her "bad luck" oh, so scary!~'
The woman snorted and checked her phone, she was pretty sure she have stored the names of other Keepers in her phone... somewhere.
'Oooh, what about that robot, that thing's badass! I bet it shoots lasers from, like, it's eyeballs! Too bad it won't let us watch it...!'
'Eh, we'll just try blackmailing that thing later so we can mess with it. What about that guy Unhallow? I heard he killed a dude from the inside out! No joke!'
God, that sounds amazing! But isn't that just a rumor? You what I think we should do? I think we should mess with them until we get something concrete, y'know?'
'You read my mind! Let's find them!'
The man stood up, offered his arm to the woman, then they both checked their phones, maybe the higher ups had information on Unhallow's current location. By then they have wandered into a quiet part of town, there were no people, not even people taking a detour to avoid the the duo of Double Dealer. Except one person.
'Oh my god! Is that Unhallow right there!?'
'Yeah, it actually is! Man are we lucky! Would you like to talk first?'
'Why of course!'
The woman waved towards Unhallow, "Hey there! You wanna talk to some other Keepers!?"

Unhallow was feeling restless. They were occasionally given something to do, but it was clear it was just unimportant busywork so that they would stop bothering people and stop spending time in the sanctum. Unhallow tried to limit their time in the sanctum given every second there meant something would start breaking, but it still didn't exactly feel good. Even so, Unhallow was on their way back to hopefully get something useful to do. Before they could make their way there, someone called out to them. Unhallow knew the people were there, they just didn't think these two had any interest in them.
"Huh? Wh-What about?"
The question took Unhallow by surprise. Unhallow didn't have anything in particular to talk about, but if these two needed something, Unhallow would be happy to listen or help to the best of their ability.

"Oh, you know... like what your powers are like, I mean, didn't you kill a guy from the inside out or something?" The woman let go of the man's arm to step closer to Unhallow. The man took out his phone, neither of them could really remember any of the questions they were suppose to ask so they were just thinking they could give the questions mentally.
'Got one! Ask them how they see through all that armor, you probably should compliment them or something too, we can mess with people more if they actually stick with us.'
"How do you see through all that armor? Does your power just make everything show up just like that? Oh, can we try it on later? It's pretty badass!"
'Then ask them how their powers basically, you know, do all that shit to people and ask them how they control all their powers.'
"What does your powers exactly do to people? Do they just, choke out and die? How do you even control all those powers? We have to know all this stuff, we study everybody's powers and yours is super unique!" And can probably be used to see some pretty awesome things too if they can get Unhallow to do something, there's also that.
The man looked up from his phone and smiled, seeing a lone man trying to pass unnoticed. "Why don't you just show us? Do something to that guy!"
"Yeah, yeah! And we're not asking you to, like, kill the dude or anything, just take out his legs or something!" The pair of Double Dealer stepped forward as if to push Unhallow towards the civilian, smiles plain on their faces, they were very close, hopefully, to seeing something awesome, who wouldn't be happy?

"H-He didn't die!" Unhallow said defensively.
Then they had to pause for a moment. Unhallow was pretty sure they hadn't actually killed anyone yet, but the person Double Dealer was referring to could be a lot of people. Normally once people got away from Unhallow they'd heal much faster than most people would expect given the kind of injuries Unhallow gave them, but they supposed that didn't necessarily mean that they all survived. A lump formed in their throat. Was there something they weren't being told?
"Um...wait, who are you talking about?" Their next question took them by surprise even more than the first. "W-Wait, you don't know how it works? I thought everyone did already. O-Oh no..."
Unhallow quickly backed up, as fast as their slow walking speed would let them. Even conversational distance could be dangerous if people were unprepared for it, granted given Unhallow's current emotional state everything would probably be fine. The conversation was making them anxious though, so there was no reason to take any chances. They continued talking in a bit more of a hushed tone as they backed up so that the pair would at least know what to expect.
"It's like a radar that makes everything around me decay faster than usual. Everything. E-Even you right now. I-I can't stop it or even do much with it. A-And because it's caused by wh-whatever energy let's me see everything, I see it all happen too so...so be careful okay?"

'Ok, he's backing away from us, I think we should stay close, we're, like, actually connected so we'll decay slower, right?'
'Yeah, I think. Eh, we'll find out when we find out, besides, Unhallow probably never even supers like us!'
The pair then blatantly ignored Unhallow's warning, they may have even stepped closer than they previously have. The woman rapped her knuckles against Unhallow's helmet before they could step away then loudly laughed, "Oh my God! Check this out, my skin, like, sunburned or something!" The man didn't respond, instead he have ran past the woman and Unhallow and grabbed the passing civilian, his smile looking distinctly more cruel.
'Hey you're ok right? Nothing too bad?'
'Nope, my hand just feels like I've been at the beach all day! Oooh, now I want to go to the beach!'
'I'll bring you there later. Now, focus! What do you think will happen to a normal person if they're next to Unhallow or better yet, touching them?'
'Maybe they'll melt! Now I have to see that! Hurry, hurry!'
The woman adopted the man's smile as he held the civilian a small distance from Unhallow, who visibly trembled due to their close proximity to the three Keepers. "Now Unhallow, you didn't answer us about our nicely asked request to do something to this guy so now we're telling you. Do something to him right now, and we'll leave you alone, deal?" The man then took a step back, still ready to catch the civilian if he ran. The woman still stood near Unhallow, obnoxiously yelling, "Do it! Do it!"

"Wait, what are you--"
Why did everyone insist on doing this? Unhallow always told people not to get too close, and yet so many people did. Most of the time it was at least people insisting on fighting them in melee, which they could understand to some extent if that was the what the person in question was best at. This though? There was nothing happening. Nothing was going to happen. They were on the same side, both of them were being completely peaceful. This person just randomly decided that they didn't want a hand anymore. Seriously, what was wrong with people? Sure, the skin damage was all she would see, but it wasn't the only thing wrong. Given how long she kept her hand in the dangerous area, it probably wasn't even going to be the only thing she felt. Blood cells died by the hundreds in moments, Unhallow's power ripped through her bones and muscles. It would likely hurt a little to even move her fingers and it would feel like there was weights on them. It was just stupid and pointless.
The fact that the pair were dragging other people into this was worse. Unhallow was gradually getting used to the feeling of slowly killing everyone around them all the time. They were getting used to watching peoples' bodies melt when they got too close. It was becoming almost routine at this point, and they had very little sympathy for the people that brought it on themselves at this point. It wasn't like they wanted it to happen or anything, and they still went out of their way to prevent it from happening, but if they went and did something as stupid as touch them there was little they could do. This man was completely different. He was being forced into it. He had nothing to do with anything, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He wasn't trying to touch Unhallow or anything. He didn't deserve this. Unhallow could feel their heart pounding in their chest.
"I-It doesn't work like that! You wouldn't see anything! It's invisible!"

"Invisible!? That's so stupid! Why would you have a power like this if you can't see what you're doing?!" The woman swung her injured hand into her other hand in frustration, before yelling in surprise, holding out the now limp hand. Her partner ran to her side, releasing the citizen who instantly begin to run.
'What's happening? Tell me, tell me, I didn't get to touch Unhallow!'
'It's like, so weird! It feels like my hand fell asleep but if I move it, it feels like I got stabbed or something!'
'Aw man, that's sounds crazy! Hold up I'm going to write this all down, we finally got something concrete on this Unhallow guy!'
The man took out his phone again, rapidly typing down anything the woman told him, the woman for her part recklessly moved her hand and fingers even as pain shot up her arm, if only she could see the inside of her own hand!
'You know you can still get this too, right? Just walk up and touch them! They don't even walk fast!'
'I'll do that later, we do still need to get more info on Unhallow, they're basically the only Keepers we don't got some info on!'
'Aw man, boo! Fine...'
They both turned back to Unhallow, firing of any questions they could think of, who knows maybe Unhallow had more fun qualities!
"Can you see what's going on in my hand!?"
"What else's going to happen to her hand?"
"Does this happen to, like, literally everything like rocks or that grass?"

"I-It's not like I chose my power," Unhallow sputtered.
Unhallow was just so confused right now. At least that was enough for them to lose interest in the random bystander for now, but they got the impression that it was important to emphasize the for now part. This entire situation was just so surreal though. Unhallow was very open about their power with the organization in general because it was important for anyone that worked with them, or even walked past them in the sanctum, to know. Not knowing could be disastrous for that person. At this point, Unhallow assumed that most people had the basic run down at least.
"Do...Do you really not know?" Unhallow blinked as they continued to be bombarded with questions. "Um...my power just kills everything, so it'll just, well, keep dying like the rest of you is right now. That's really all it does. And well, yeah, I see everything, l-like I said..."

"Of course we don't know, we probably weren't paying attention because it was boring, I mean, duh!" The woman rolled her eyes, she and her partner obviously only liked interesting things so it just wasn't interesting at the time!
'When did they even tell us about Unhallow? I don't even remember!'
'Eh, they probably told us the day Unhallow showed up, but they probably told in technical ways, you know? Like, "blah, blah, blah," instead of, "crazy walking guy of death".
'I would so listen to that!'
The pair wrote down whatever Unhallow said, once they had enough they could have some fun with someone else, specifically another Keeper! "'K, we got a lot, thanks sweetie! By the way, do you know about any cool, not weird Keepers?" The man added more after his partner, "We really need to see someone awesome, we're going to need to study a bunch of Keepers powers so we got to know who's going to be fun to see!"

Unhallow could only stand there and blink, completely dumbfounded by what they were hearing. At this point, they weren't sure if they were even following the conversation anymore, the whole thing was just bizarre. They tried to stutter out something, but it just came out as incoherent static and mumbling. Their next question was even stranger. Unhallow knew that most of the Keepers didn't exactly know each other that well, but this just seemed silly. At this point, Unhallow was starting to doubt the pair was even a part of the organization.
"U-Um...Everyone?"

'God! Unhallow is so unhelpful!'
'No, wait, what if they mean go all out? You know, mess with everyone no matter what!'
'Ooh! So Unhallow is helpful if we read between the lines!'
The woman bounced on the balls of her feet, making the cliche 'excited girl squeal'. "Do you mean, like, mess with everyone!? That is just stupid smart, nice one Unhallow!" She grabbed her partner's hands, still bouncing, her excitement obviously infecting the man as he joined her.
'I can't believe we didn't mess with everyone I mean, what the hell!?'
'Don't worry, we were thinking about our research not how we could have fun, so we were bored. Man, was that a boring way to think!'
The duo both suddenly turned to Unhallow, still pretty excited. "Hey, you want to come with us, it'll be a hell of a time!"
"You look pretty boring on your own so..."

"Wait, what? No, that's not-- what you asked was-- Th-That's not what I said at all!"
Unhallow really should have known better than to think the pair was talking about just talking to people or something given how the two of them were treating them, but like most people in their faction Unhallow was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. It was clear this was a serious mistake and they weren't quite sure what to do about it.
"No! Leave them alone!"

"God! Calm down! It's not like were going to kill them, we just like having fun!" Still, the woman didn't sound annoyed, she seemed to think Unhallow's reactions were all pretty funny. "So... you're not coming along?" The man said this smiling, he knew Unhallow wasn't coming, he just wanted to see if they could get one last reaction out of Unhallow.
'Ha! Unhallow's, like, probably thinking we're so annoying! Who knew someone with a helmet is so fun to mess with?'
'So you still want to hang around them later?'
'Yeah, maybe I won't touch them or anything anymore, but they're just too funny when they're upset so messing with them will never get old!'
"But I mean, we really can't leave the rest of people alone you know? We're, like, researchers for superpowers so we have to talk to other Keepers. What's so bad if we have some fun with them?" The duo waved their phones in front of Unhallow, showing all the tabs they had for each super in the Keepers. "See? We don't lie! But, really, I think we're going to get in trouble with those big shots if we don't get some info, like, right now so we're going to go now. See you later Unhallow!"
The duo then both ran off, not even waiting to see Unhallow's reaction even though they wanted to, the big shots were starting to send angry texts! Besides, those angry texts would be fun to read later!

"How is any of this fun?" she exasperation in their voice was obvious. "And no, I'm not coming!"
The duo waved their phones around like Unhallow could actually see what was on the screen. There were certain downsides to intentionally blinding themselves, and this was one of them. Unhallow could see the phones just fine, but the display on a plasma screen lacked enough physicality for them to make out what was on it. The two of them might as well have been waving their phones in a blind person's face.
Unhallow just stood there mumbling a bit to themselves when the duo ran off. They felt bad, but there wasn't a lot they could do to stop them. It's not like they'd be able to keep up without destroying half the island, and they felt weird just making their legs not work given they were still Keepers. For now, they just opted to rest a little bit and tried to make sense of what just happened.
