Limen knew this film studio was crap. They were known for hiring young, cheep staff looking for a way to break into the industry, offering them as little money as they could get away with and working their employees to the bone on strict due dates while the ones up top raked in millions with their blockbusters. There’d been more than one instance where someone would ask to be paid the actual worth of their work, only to be immediately fired, and those who tried to fight back got nasty rumors spread through tabloids and the internet. It’d happened to a new actor six months ago - he’d asked to be paid more and threatened strike, and the studio responded by firing him and saying it was because he was violent on-set and it was a move made for the safety of the other staff. Now it was happening again. Yesterday, an article ran in the newspaper: “Young Actor Outed as a Super, Big Break Lost?” Apparently, she’d been trying to hide the fact she had powers in an attempt to live normally. She hadn’t even been an active super, but now since they had “evidence” the studio was under legal obligation to fire her. It didn’t matter if she was indeed a super or not; it pissed Limen off to think this film studio could just call her one and use it as an excuse to cut all ties with the poor girl, leaving her jobless and with such a destructive rumor looming over her head that finding another job would be near impossible. Those up top with all the money had far from a squeeky-clean history, yet it would take far more than a single news article to knock them down like they had this girl. This was only the tip of the iceberg - their movies pushed anti-super messages, the CEO was about as in the pockets of shareholders as one could be, and it seemed like they were going out of their way to be as unsustainable for the environment as possible, just to name a few - no doubt this studio’s other practices got on the nerves of plenty others. Limen bet they felt safe sitting atop their demons. Well, Limen had compiled a list of all the people this studio had ever fired. It numbered over a hundred, and at least a dozen were still struggling to get past the damage the company had wreaked on their reputation. She was going to get a little just desserts for these undeserving victims. All she needed was proof and money, and she knew just where to get both. Limen stood out behind the large office buildings the big guns of the company haunted during the day. Her bike was parked along the side of the building. She had her bow slung over her shoulder, a paintball gun beside it, and a couple of flash grenades in her backpack. The moon was overhead and the building was dark. The time was right and her gear was set - now she just had to figure out how to get in. Titan Canary Claw

News spreads fast no matter how big the city, and Canary wasn't exempt from hearing the latest on a girl who may or may not have been a super getting the boot. It didn't matter who she was or if it was even true; the goons who fired her were shallow, disgusting people that made her skin crawl. It wasn't the first time it had happened, of course, but it was the most recent. Recent enough that she believed it best to take the high-ranking cooperates down a peg or two, and what better way to do that than puncture their reputation with holes that can't be hidden? There's plenty to find, to be sure. All it took was a little know-how, skill, and maybe just a dash of luck.
She has her smoke bombs on her, as well as a couple of other inventions if she needs them, including a destructive toy or two. Part of the adventure was being able to handle whatever came her way, after all.
The trick now was testing to see how good the security was in this place, and she begins scanning for the best way in without ruining her well-timed entrance. No one knew she was coming, not yet anyway, but there was always the chance the company would spend more on security than employees.

Titan had heard a lot about this studio. While he never really kept up with celebrity news or tabloids, he was well-aware of their frankly disgusting practices, but the recent news was the last straw for a lot of people, Titan included. There was a huge controversy surrounding the supposed nature of a recently fired actress; namely that she was apparently a super. The consequences of this outing were no doubt catastrophic for the now former actress. Being a super not only drew fear and suspicion, but a publicly known super had practically zero chances of employment, thanks to the corporate fat cats and the government stooges. It was clear that the heads of this film studio didn't exactly think their plan through, as now they drew the attention of the more unscrupulous supers looking for some impromptu vigilante justice. In all honesty, they had it coming. Their movies were shit anyways.
Unfortunately, as a Bulwark, Titan was obligated to make sure that nothing drastic happened. Many supers were prone to getting a bit...carried away. Property damage and a body count wouldn't reflect well on supers as a whole, and the studio could just spin it into a sob story that contributed to their anti-super agenda. A little restraint was in order, and Titan was there to deliver it. Waiting outside the large office building, Titan was sure this would be the primary target of the vengeful supers. It was bound to be, given all the heads were gathered around here, according to word of mouth. His vigil took up most of the day, lasting from late afternoon to late at night, with a full moon overhead. Titan was considering just calling it a day and leaving.
Thankfully, his patience paid off, as he suddenly spotted someone on a bike stopping near the building. Looking closer, Titan noticed what looked like a gun. Not good. He approached the would-be intruder at his normal size, preparing to activate his powers if they turned out to be hostile.

The hardest part to getting in always wasn’t the door, but the carefully hidden security system, rigged to call the police if a pin number isn’t entered in the amount of given time, or the intruder doesn’t have the right fingerprints, or otherwise the song and dance is screwed up. Too bad for them security systems were so easily downed.
Messing a bit with her sleeve, Limen came to stand parallel with the door she planned on entering through. It was unassuming; a dark grey with a knob handle and a small electric box beside it. Her stance was wide. Limen pulled back her arm, inhaled, and punched the undeserving door. Had she been a number of other supers, the door would’ve crumpled in where her fist hit the metal and, ripped from its hinges, would’ve fallen to the ground, a hurtle no more. Instead, a somewhat loud “clang” echoed through the area, easily mistakable for someone stubbing their toe on a trashcan, as her brass knuckles hit and just kind of sparked against the door.
But it seemed she’d been spotted even before that. Limen turned her head (the rest of her body still in door punching position) to see a new arrival. The fellow had at least a foot on her, and judging by the mask and outfit, was probably a super. “Evening.” She greeted inconspicuously.
She heard a small click. The system was down. “Sweet.” she said, dropping her pose and digging in her sweatshirt pocket. She pulled out a lockpick and began her version of punching down a door.
“You here for some super revenge too?” She asked the probably super, not looking up from her hands as she inserted the pick into the lock and went to work. “You can break whatever you want and I won’t get in your way - I’m just here for some info and maybe cash.” She heard another click from the lock. Amateurs, this would take no time to pick. “You don’t happen to know which gaudy painting they hide the big money safe behind, do you?”

Unfortunately, Canary did not have access to the information needed to hack her way into the security system or otherwise get it to work in her favor. The consequences of spontaneous action reared their ugly head; catching the sound of voices as she continues her stroll around the perimeter, she stays back out of sight and lets the other two hash out their greeting.
At least, until the offer's made for destruction. Even though the words were meant for someone else, it sounded to her like an open invitation.
"I can work with that," she chirps, waiting a moment before coming closer. "I bet it's a really tacky one. Biggest one they've got in the heaviest frame."

When Titan got closer, he came to the realization that what he initially thought was a rifle was instead a paintball gun. Looks like things weren't as drastic as he initially thought. The tension completely evaporated when the intruder, who was in the process of trying to punch down the door, jovially greeted Titan as he approached, rather than suddenly lashing out as he expected. She was dressed incredibly casually, aside from the frankly ridiculous amounts of gear that she brought. As she got to work picking the lock of the door she in fact failed to punch down, her invitation for Titan to join her caught him off-guard. He simply stared incredulously at the comparatively tiny woman. She sure was an odd duck...
Before Titan could do anything, another would-be intruder suddenly appeared from out of nowhere, inviting herself into this impromptu gathering. She was slightly built and practically a full foot shorter than Titan, even at his normal size, much like the other woman. Going by her costume, she was definitely a super. Certainly not Bulwark, and Pandaemonium would be much more aggressive when it came to things like this. Titan only let out an exasperated sigh, deciding that it was best to accompany them. Only real way to minimize the risk of any collateral damage.
increasing in size, the sound of bones violently snapping could be heard. The now 10 foot giant simply smashed the door down with a large fist, before motioning towards the first lady to take care of whatever business she was planning. How did he get himself into this?

The first super was kind of leaving her hanging as far as responses went, but like a messenger from the sky (or in this case, around the corner) another person appeared to keep up the conversation. Another super too, by the looks of her.
“Right? Of the CEO on a white horse, I would bet.” Limen chuckled. Something about this lady felt familiar, like Limen’d actually read a newspaper article on her. She spent a moment trying to put her finger on it, but failing, elected to put the matter aside and decided she liked her arm bracers.
So the lass was here for cash, and the lad was here for-
Limen’s train of thought was interrupted as she heard a shudder-inducing noise behind her and then she jumped back out of the way, abandoning her lock pick in the knob, as the guy did a much more effective job of punching down the door. So he was here for punching down doors, then? Limen was having a hard time getting any kind of reading on this guy (a fact she was now going to take as a challenge), but as long as she wasn’t the one getting punched, she’d let him do his thing.
Limen whistled and poked her head in through the open doorway. No one jumped out at her, and no one seemed shocked by the sudden crumbling of the door. Only thing left to do now was to go forward, she guessed. So in she waltzed, not fearing traps - computers would be down for a bit here. “Name’s Limen, by the way. I’ll be your pandaemonious super for the evening.” She said friendly.
Looking down the dark hall to the left and the darker hall to the right, she asked, “Do, uh, either of you know the layout of this place? Or the nearest staircase, that works too.”

Canary's smile widens, already liking the brunette's attitude. It's difficult to muffle her chuckle as she nods. "Right! It's always in the most obvious place." The last word stretches on a few moments as she jumps, the sound of bones crunching merrily under the force of the guy's sudden growth spurt. She blinks, jumping at the sound of the door's destruction, and fails to find words accurate enough to match her current thoughts. Mostly, a mix of surprise, awe, and perhaps a pinch something else.
"Nice!" She nods and looks back at the other woman, an amused smile in place with her care-free interlude into the building. Right up until she reveals that she's not the slightest idea of where she's going. Blinking, Canary tilts her head to the side before taking a step forward.
"You want the CEO office, right?"

Titan could tell the other two were quite startled by his display. That, or disgusted. They didn't seem like the type who would go around murdering people, but it was best to be on the safe side. You don't judge a book by its cover, that was the general rule when it came to supers. At least, thats what Titan was telling himself as a justification for tagging along with this merry bunch. In actuality, deep down, underneath all of that Bulwark idealism, Titan wanted these people to pay for what they did. He wasn't above getting some payback, but there did need to be limits on how that payback would be delivered. Shrinking down to normal size, Titan followed the two inside, but internally grimaced when it turned out they had no idea of the layout. He merely shrugged and decided to wait for their decision.

It was a good thing this business seemed to have trust in their security system. They didn’t seem to be trying to keep their voices down - at least, Limen wasn’t - and it’d be kinda hard not to have heard the door opening if one was anywhere in the near vicinity. No one was running down the halls with guns telling them to leave or else, so she assumed there were no other people in the nearby vicinity. She couldn’t drop her guard, however, as there may be security people elsewhere. With the security cameras down (along with the rest of the system), if there was anyone who was paying the slightest bit of attention, they’d likely know something was up.
“Yeah, CEO’s office works great.” Limen replied. Mostly she wanted the place where they kept the laptop or file cabinet where they locked all the telling business ledgers or emails with the sneaky deals. The stuff tabloids wished they could get their hands on and made up derivatives of for lack of proof. She wanted that proof, and she wanted to leave it on the desk of the city’s best journalist.
If Goggles knew the course there, Limen wasn’t about to get in her way. Taking a step to the side in the hallway, she motioned the super ahead of her. “Lead the way, oh great Knower of the Map.”

Canary isn't interested in keeping her voice down, a point that seems moot after the door gets punched in on itself. Giving the big guy a thumbs up, she hops inside after the other superwith a cocky little grin.
"Well then, we go up," she declares, pointing a finger towards the staircase that would let them ascend in a general vertical fashion. "They can't get enough of looking down on everyone else, and you never know," her smile quirks, "they might not want their assets out for easy snatching."

Titan simply stood there like a statue, observing the other two almost lazily. They had no real idea what they were doing, that was clear enough. Why was he here again? Titan decided that he was there to keep things under control. Yeah, that was probably it. Punching that door down certainly showed who was in control. At least the two had a clear destination; the CEO office. Probably to steal incriminating files, money and maybe even vandalize the place just to cap things off. Of course, they would need to get there in the first place, which would have been difficult if they didn't have a map, which they didn't. Eventually, one of the thieves recommended going up the stairs. Merely shrugging, Titan once again went of with the pair.

Ah, so there was a staircase. To her left. Where she probably should’ve bothered to look - there was even a sign above the door reading “stairs”. This is why she normally read maps before coming to places, rather than thinking “it’s an office building, how hard could it be to navigate?” and calling it a day.
She waited for the super to go on to the means of ascension, but then both of them just sort of stood there. Limen felt like she’d been left hanging for a high-five.
“Fine, if you want to use me as the front-line bullet sponge, I’ll take the lead.” She sighed, jogging into the doorway. “But,” she paused with a hand on the stairs’ railing and looked back at the two with a sly grin, “if I get there first, what I grab is mine. I’m not sharing.”
She hopped up on the railing, quickly got to her balance and feet, and simply leaped up to the next floor’s railing. Easily pulling herself up, she did the same again. And so up she went. Forget the steps; this was way faster.

It seemed that everyone was still around for the party, which was fine with Canary. She nodded to the stairs, but didn't have a brilliant plan to get them upward. No rockets, future tech, or even good old pogo sticks. It was almost a crime in and of itself.
"Be my guest." She grins and follows after Limen, glancing over her shoulder to see if the giant man was following. Either way, it didn't matter: the competition was on, and she was already taking several stairs at a time in small leaps that seemed unimpressive next to Limen's own movements.
"Finders keepers, huh? You're on."

It was quite surprising that the other two had no powers that allowed them to simply fly up the staircase or something else to that effect. Granted, if they had been capable of such a thing, it was doubtful that they would need to sneak in through here in the first place. A lot of other supers would have ditched the very idea of subtlety and smashed their way in. Sure, Titan was capable of doing that, but there were limits that one had to place on themselves. And so the very casually dressed woman quickly jumped from railing to railing, while the other took the simpler of option of the stairs. Titan opted to go for the latter, he was less concerned about playing whatever game these two were occupying themselves with and more with trying to keep things from going out of hand.
