Limen trotted back to the parked motorcycle. The bike sat on the face of a small hill overlooking the sea, a few feet from where the grass turned into sand. A soft breeze blew in from the ocean, bringing with it the coolness of the quickly approaching night and stripes of clouds from the west. The sound of cars was distant, having driven on the back roads the entire way (when she hadn’t decided to go cross-country like the last few hundred feet it’d taken to reach the beach), and the sounds of humans besides them nonexistent. Birds chirped in a nearby tree. A flag waved in the breeze against the nearby historical lighthouse. It was weird to think they’d come from the chaos of an attempted jailbreak just an hour before. They’d yet to leave Malachite Isle, as it was a little hard without a boat. She’d insisted they take a rest by the uninhabited beach. “I got drinks!” She called cheerfully to her small party, raising three sodas obtained (totally legally) from a nearby vending machine above her head. Once she came beside the bike, she flopped down cross-legged in the grass and made to hand her two teammates their drinks. “So, that could’ve gone better.” She said pleasantly, speaking the obvious. “But none of us died, so I guess it could’ve gone worse.” Unscrewing the lid of her drink, she took a long gulp of the sugar fuzz sludge. She let out a gasp. The soda burned at her sore throat. Limen could run for quite a while, she liked to think of that as one of her strengths, but she’d done a lot of running in that fight. A lot of running and a lot of fighting, and now she was feeling the fatigue in her legs and arms. “How many guards did you guys take out?” Limen asked with a grin, looking up at the other two. “I got…” She paused, counting in her head. “Six.” Two when she came in, one in the hall, the friend of the one in the hall, and the two in the security room. Sanduleak was sitting up against said bike, a few wrappings around sore spots because of his flight of fancy out of the prison. Though he visibly lit up, literally there was a little aura of light around him like budha, at the sight of the soda and gratefully accepted one. He slid off the bottom portion of his mask, glad that he got one of the few Pandemonium geniuses to work that little feature in, before popping open the bottle and taking a long swig. It was at least a half minute before he stopped chugging and had a slight twitch from the caffeine.
"You're a life saver cause of that."
He let out a burp then laughed, groaning slightly as he felt some sore spots move. It took him a moment to remember his trip through the prison and with a little motion of flicking his finger around.
"Hrm...oh right reinforcements there were hm twelve of them all neatly handcuffed."
He smiled a bit proudly, happy to have done that before rubbing the back of his head, course that's all that he did that was successful. Sanduleak took a moment to drown said thoughts with liquid sugar.

Giza simply signal Limen not giving him the soda that she got one she got back from going out to get it for them; it not that he wasn’t graceful of her kind gesture, it simply his stomach isn’t in a good condition to drink anything at the moment. He lifted up his mask slightly, only revealed his mouth in order to spit out the remaining blood in his mouth.
Today’s plan wasn’t go as well as he thought it could be, especially when the stupid Bulwark caught him off-guard and put him in a near-death situation. They didn’t even get any of their unpowered members out of that prison even after what they’ve been through in order to get them out. Despite causing such a ruckus in the prison, he felt that this failure was unforgivable; he blamed himself for not able to prepare for the situation better.
He looked at both Sanduleak and Limen; he is thankful for these two’s aid in his outrageous plan to help their brethrens, but he just doesn’t feel in the mood to celebrate their defeat. He clutched his abdomen slightly, still feels the pain burning inside. He can’t even talk to them without another cough of blood coming out of his mouth. In order to communicate with them, he levitated the sand with his power in order to form simple sentences:
“We fail.” was the first sentence he shown to them. The sand then fell onto the ground before another sentence form, “Rescue attempt fail. Friends still imprison. Why celebrate?”

Limen set Giza’s rejected drink on the grass and turned on her motorcycle's radio to an alternative channel she liked while Sanduleak continued talking. She probably should have thought that Giza wouldn’t want a drink, but it was the gesture that mattered, right?
“Twelve? Damn.” She chuckled. She couldn’t keep up with that. That fourth one of hers had come out of nowhere with a gun - had she not acted fast with a blunt arrow, her run would’ve ended right there. It was too bad Giza wasn’t in the mood to share his count. She was curious.
She took another long drink of the soda, glad for the liquid however much people said soda only dehydrates you more. The gas mask she’d worn during the heist was stuffed messily in her bag, having been abandoned as soon as she was out of range of the nerve gas. That thing got stuffy.
Settling down on the grass again, she chuckled again at Giza’s complaining. “‘Cause none of us died.” Limen said simply. Her hands rested behind her head, Limen reclined on the grass, letting her crossed legs raise up into the air. “You can’t win them all, you know. We weren’t expecting enemy supers and of course there were enemy supers. Three of them. But you know what? Today there were no casualties, we didn’t add to the prison population, and now I’ve got a soda. Life’s pretty okay if you ask me.”

Sanduleak could feel his grip tighten on the bottle, thankful he didn't have super strength, as he remembered the stupid Bulwark dropped the living plague on Giza. That guy was his on shit list and was definitely a deadman next time he found him. he was thankful for the music and Limen's reply, helped him get over the slight feeling of uselessness.
"She's right, even best laid plans can full to ruin, plus we got a bit more info and experience on both some keepers and the prison. We may not have won the battle but we can still win the war."
He held up his drink before chugging the remaining liquid and slumping against the bike.
"Cheers to the future and chaos we'll cause."

Giza signed from his two allies’ words. They were right; even though he could have planned the whole thing better, it was near-impossible for a plan to go exactly as he predicted. He had to admit that he didn’t realized someone who can swap places with other people exist; perhaps that was the reason he was caught off-guard. With the more in-depth information he got from this, he can perhaps formulate a new plan to break their unpowered allies out of there. It is rather unfortunate that they fail their attempt today; that prison would probably fix their security system and prepares for another breaking attempt soon.
But as he had believed before, there are no such place deem inescapable. Sooner or later, Giza will return, stronger and more prepare than before, and will one day successfully get his allies out of that dump. But not right now; he can think over about making a new plan once he returned back to the Horde. Right now, he needs to think of a way to break their failure to Aurora. As the man who came up with the plan and the idea to perform this scheme, he must take responsibility of the out-come. Hopefully she won’t be too mad about this once they break the bad news to her. After both Limen and Sanduleak make their toast, he levitated the sand once again to form his speech once again:
“Cheer. For true freedom.”
He then just take out his deck of card and begin to count them to see what card were used in order to replace them.

At Giza’s reply, Limen’s smile softened. “Cheers!” She shouted, raising her bottle into the air. “One day we’ll break all those walls down.”
Her stakes had not been high in particular in that jailbreak, but she’d been hoping for a victory for more reasons than just victory’s sake. She knew a couple of the people in that prison, pandaemoniums caught unlucky or off gaurd and captured by police on the faction’s various escapades. They weren’t bad people, in her book. She missed seeing their faces around the horde.
Compounded on that, Limen had been reminded of the strength of those prisons, especially when bolstered by supers’ help. Unlike most, she to some degree feared arrest. She couldn’t wreck walls, or trick people’s minds, or teleport away. She relied heavily on weapons to amplify her abilities, and while those could be gained from the police themselves, sometimes stuff happened. Things could go terribly wrong and she could end up in prison. It wasn’t like she doubted her ability to escape; she knew she could, if she had help. But there was the kicker - if she had help. They’d been that help, and they’d failed. She hoped if the day came where she found herself on that island - an event far from impossible with the target of being a maskless super over her head - that those who came to help her would be able to do so. Or that people would come in the first place.
Limen took another drink of her soda. “So, what’re we going to tell the people at Pandaemonium when we come back empty handed?” She asked. “I mean, you two both got hurt, so we’ve got proof of battle on our side. Saying we lost to a pile of goop, a horseman of the apocalypse, and a kamikaze doppelganger sounds a little silly though.”

Sanduleak placed his empty bottle and smiled a bit brighter, seems they were at least able to cheer up Giza and stay positive. Though it was still a bit difficult for him.
He hadn't done anything successful during that attempt, that woman had just dodged his beams and Unhallow wasn't even fazed by his flash...if he had been able to do something they might've had a bigger party than this with all the members who were currently still there. God some of them may have even been taken by those damn Keepers. Who knows what the hell they'd do to get some extra info. No no no bad thoughts, they could try again in a week, Limen was right they would tear the damn walls down and free their partners in crimes. Shaking his head violently to get rid of most of his negative thoughts, Sanduleak chuckled when he heard Limen's next topic.
"Is it though? I mean we're a magician, archer, and living light show who attempted to break 'em out, preeeeetty sure that's just another Sunday to most in this city...also that kamikaze doppelganger is gonna be dead doppelganger when I'm through with him. Er anyways I heard that capture the flag thing may be happening soon, so that'll help moral at the very least until we try again and break those guys out."

He sighed, but not from disappointment; Sanduleak might have heard about the silly idea he have in mind for their next great coming, and he’s simply waiting for everyone in the Pandaemonium to meet up together in order to plan what they should do. After all, organizing such a large scale game of “capture the flag” is hard enough; it will be much harder when everyone who plans to participate can be slightly impatient about it.
In his mind, he was hoping that Aurora would be on his team for the game. He welcomed anyone to join his side, but he’s saving her a specific VIP spot for her to join him. It’ll be much better to fight with her rather than fighting her. Everyone else, on the other hand, is fair-game. Before he could finalize everything for it, they need to report back to the Horde about their fail attempt in breaking their unpowered member out of jail. Giza formed the sentences from the sand once again:
“My idea, I’ll take responsibility. Thank you for your help. Sanduleak, no need to kill a Bulwark because you’re angry. We Pandaemonium are better than common criminals. We shouldn’t soil our name for silly vengeance. This future capture the flag game will be enough as pay-back against those Bulwarks.”

Giza was blaming himself for the whole ordeal, as though he could’ve planned for three supers showing up. As far as Limen was concerned, his plan was great. It would’ve gone off flawlessly had they only been facing the guards. Who were highly-trained guards - to think they’d done as much as they did was amazing. It’d be an awakening that their security wasn’t necessarily all that secure, even if it hadn’t been all the way broken.
“This was a team effort, but I guess if you want to take the fall, man, that’s your choice. I’ll just leave fish in the beds of anyone who chews you out over it.” She took another drink of her soda.
Limen had heard tell of this “capture the flag” game. “We will get our revenge via a game of capture the flag…” Limen said darkly, staring off into the distance like she was contemplating dead parents. “And if either of you come to stand against me on the field, I warn you now, there will be no mercy.”
In all actuality, Limen was seriously looking forward to the match. She’d been doing a bit of prep for it already - scoping out dark alleyways and rooftops that might serve as quick and hidden passages, and snooping about in the horde, attempting to find something to clue her into her possible enemy's potential weaknesses. So far she hadn’t turned up much, but seriously, if someone got upset at Giza over the jailbreak, they'd be turning up fish in their room.

Sanduleak let out a sigh as he read the message before nodding in agreement with both teammates.. Giza was right he shouldn't lower himself and Limen was right that it was a group effort...also the fish thing sounded pretty fun, maybe Limen would let him help.
"You're right you're right, but I'm still gonna at least teach him a hard to forget lesson if I see him again...may even bring flash cards."
Sanduleak let out a chuckle at his own joke before stopping to glance at their sometimes not-so friendly archer. He didn't know whose team he was going to be on, barely knowing more than a handful of members, but would personally prefer the magician and archer on his side. They worked well together, plus Giza would at least attempt to get Aurora on their side which guaranteed Sanduleak not dying...actually maybe that'll make her join the other team, if her rep was anything to go though Sanduleak's was a mixed bag so who knew. At the very least he memorized the area fairly well, and had more than a few plans and traps that could result in some fun.
"The property damage will be a crap ton greater than a prison that's for sure, it's gonna be great...and right back at ya Limen, though I probably won't be standing cause that'd make me a shit ton easier for ya to shoot."
Sanduleak laughed once more, yup Pandemonium may have not been his safest but he still considered joining it, the best choice.

Seeing how these two were excited about the little game of capture the flag was both encouraging and worrying. He knew that all Pandaemonium would be serious about the challenge, but the idea that these two won’t be so merciful to their own faction members is a bit offsetting. The reason that he wanted to start this “capture the flag” game was to teach everyone in the Pandaemonium in the process of working with each other forward a common goal. From what he had observe through their previous scheme, most of the Pandaemonium simply do them out of random, without planning, without much reason of doing so, and of course without communication between each other.
For example, Aurora’s attempt of demolishing the news station on Laurel Boulevard with Dullahan met with complication because of Dullahan started to demolish the place while Aurora was still in the building. Even in his museum heist, Bloodbath’s action of attacking the police officers wasn’t something Giza had in mind, even if that manage to help ease down their interference with his heist. For him, lack of internal communication between team members can either lead to confusion or even a flaw in a well-laid plan.
In his mind, he can still remember Aurora’s word on him about what her end goal was, and how she assumed that people will be against her ideal world in the future. She also advised him to be himself rather than mimicking her method of doing thing. He knew that putting organization in a group that each member looked out for their own would meet with disagreement. Thus he need to gain a better understanding of every supers members of Pandaemonium; this “capture the flag” game would help him gain better understanding of all the members. He waved his finger around to form message from the sand again:
“Enthusiasm is good, but do not let hostility control you. We are still share the same faction, do not forget that.”

Limen smiled to herself. Both the Pandaemoniums seemed to have taken her statement seriously. Did she really seem the type to ruthlessly go after her teammates given the opportunity? She didn’t think she seemed that intimidating, but if that’s what they thought of her, she’d happily take it.
“Laying down won’t help. If I can see you, I can hit you.” Limen said in the same overly dark tone as before. In all seriousness, she expected to be the one running as other Pandaemoniums took out their months of pent up destruction on buildings and anyone unfortunate enough to be in their way. Some of these supers could take out city blocks with their attacks. She’d like to think that they’d have enough common sense not to attack another of their faction members with that kind of power, but this was Pandaemonium they were talking about. No guarantees could be made.
Limen downed the rest of her soda and, swinging herself up to her feet, stuffed the empty bottle in her motorcycle's bag. “So I’ve been wondering, how’re we going to get home?” She asked, putting a hand to her forehead and staring out over the coast. “My bike’s great and all for getting around, but it doesn’t float. I don’t suppose either of you are carrying a boat?”

"I'd be lying if I said laying down wasn't one of my first options, so here's hoping we're just teammates and not have to worry bout each others wrath."
Sanduleak chuckled, this was more playful than dark in his opinion. He wondered who would cause the most property damage, he was proud of his own ability to cause some damage but sometimes it appeared the magician in front of him and the living rainbow would probably rip out a building if she was annoyed. That pretty much determined it, whoever was the most annoyed would cause more damage than the rest. He was really hoping he wouldn't be the cause for their annoyance, though that was not likely. Oh current problem, beach did not make a good round.
"Hrm no left my yacht in my other helmet, soooo give me a few minutes, plus let me hitch a ride, I could probably make a road or something for us to ride if that's cool."
He was ninety percent certain he could make a flat plain over the water for them to ride over...at the very least, like everything Pandaemonium did, it'd be interesting.

Giza sighed; clearly they aren’t listening to his word about how they should all be at the very least considerate about how much violent they should put in this game. Pandaemonium isn’t really full of nurses that could taking care of the wounded supers, so he’s hoping the fighting won’t be putting too much bruises on some of them. He was lucky that despite being heavily injure from the prison break, his power can at least help him heal his internal injury.
As the matter of fact, after some time having his vocal throat some rest, he can feel his lungs finally heal back enough for him to at least speak without coughing out a chunk of blood again. He could still taste the copper in his mouth, but nothing like a bit of sweet to wash it down once he got back to the horde.
Speaking of getting back, it won’t be too hard to get back to the mainland without too much of a hassle. Standing up from his seat, Giza turned to Limen and spoke to her. His voice is still slightly hoarse, but he can now speak to them. Good thing that he isn't by himself with Limen like how he and Aurora was a while back, otherwise talking to her would take a lot more effort than forming sentences with sand.
“I can procure us a ride, b-but we would need to get back within about 30 minutes if we do. L-Limen, do you mind me borrowing that motorcycle of your?”
