Limen had appropriated a crane. She’d climbed up the latter, tossed the driver out (onto the railing, not the ground), and taken control for herself. With her best fake gravely voice send over the mic, the workers wouldn’t know what’d happened until the crane arm started grabbing the wrong crates and dropping them in very wrong spots. And so the pandaemonium at the controls went about locating a crate that had the desired food company logo on it and figuring out how to maneuver the odd claw thing. Inevitably, someone did connected the dots that that shipping container of food did not belong on that semi truck, bothered to look up to find the real driver tied to the railing of his cockpit, and began yelling to his coworkers, but Limen was unconcerned. She’d like to see them try to take down an archer from a high sniping point. She had the door to the cockpit open, and in between moving and maneuvering the claw, poked her head out the window to shoot blunt arrows at choice targets. First, down went another one of the crane drivers, who was attempting to intercept her efforts. Next went a fellow who tried to get into the semi she was planning on making her escape on. After that were two guys who had begun climbing up the ladder to the crane. Limen turned on the radio in the crane. This 8:00PM plan made on a whim and carried out an hour later without any preparation was going surprisingly well. doubledealer

"Mmm... No. No, we're not coming down. If we like it up here, we're not coming down obviously." The man that formed the pair of Double Dealer called down from a shipping crate towards a steadily growing crowd of pretty angry workers.
'Oh my God! They're getting, like, super angry! Look, look, that guy's going to throw that tiny box at us! Shouldn't he at least be trying to hurt us right now?' 'I know, but at least they're looking at us. I going to try and catch that box, alright?' ''K. Wait! I'll help!'
The pair stood up, doing a little made-up dance as a taunt. Suddenly the woman yelled, grabbed the man, and leapt off to another box as a crane lowered towards the previous box, lifting it onto a semi truck.
'Now that was interesting! Thanks for the save but seriously, I really just have to see who's the crazy they put in that crane!' 'Me too! Oooh! Let's race, three, two, one, go!'
The pair took off, taking only the most daring jumps only, stopping for a few seconds to yell insults back at the workers, who cursed at both the pair, and the mystery driver who have begin sniping anybody trying to stop them. The Double Dealer pair whooped and cheered as the driver continued their awesome randomness.
'I love this guy! Who are they, can you see them?' 'I see them! It's a uhh... girl! And, and not just any girl, it's that full-time supervillian, Limen! 'Oh man, we just hit the jackpot! She's in Pandemonium they're all so fun! And I know I'm reading your mind, but I know you want in on whatever she's doing just as much as I do!'
They both ran behind the crane, they didn't want themselves getting shot before getting to Limen, now would they? They both felt a bit winded after climbing the crane but they still walked to the front of the crane, precariously leaning forward so they could be visible from where Limen would be.
"Hi! You're Limen, right? What are you doing?" "Whatever it is, it looks awesome!" The pair's faces were split into smiles, hands on their hats so they won't fall off, obviously expecting a positive response.

Limen heard them before she saw them. Coming up in what had been a blind spot for her, she had been unaware of the duo’s presence until they spoke behind her. She had been somewhat aware that another super was about, as she had seen a mob of angry docks men that were often a side product of such a disturbance, but the first time she’d actually seen them was when she looked over her shoulder to find the source of the two voices. For shame - she needed to pay better attention, or that was how she was going to end up with a bullet in the back of her head.
She could tell immediately that the two were supers, if only from the eccentricity. Though they seemed to know her, she didn’t know either of them. They couldn’t be pandaemonium - she knew most of the supers there, and she certainly would’ve remembered a pair like this. Bulwarks, maybe? But calling the stealing of something, even if it was just a random shipping container, awesome seemed a little un-Bulwark-like.
Limen regarded the two and their well-coordinated outfits a moment longer, her bow arm resting over the head of the seat, before she returned her gaze to out through the crane’s front window. “I’m just stealing that shipping container of food down there.” Limen replied casually, as though this was a daily routine for her. “Plan is to take half of it to the horde and the other half to an underfunded food bank in the slums.” She explained.
“If you two’re here to help, the police are going to be coming in from, oh, down that street.” She motioned to one of roads leading into this loading bay, and the one the trucks were likely supposed to leave by.. A quick survey of the area said that would clearly be their path; though a few other roads winded off from the bay, but most of them twisted through the complex maze of crates and docks. They wouldn’t be quickly traversed.
“If you’re here for a fight,” Limen stood from the control panels, remaining bent over them for moment longer so as to set the crane on its next path. As she spun on her heel, she straightened, until she faced the pair. A grin was on her face and her grip on her bow was tight. “Then I’m ready.”

'Blah, blah, blah... why does she want to bring half of this to a food bank? That's lame.' 'Don't worry we'll fix that later, first, let's have some fun with the police!'
"Don't get all paranoid! We're obviously going to help, duh!" The woman pulled her partner to the road that Limen believes the police is coming from, which was correct, there was already distant sirens becoming visible.
'Ready to do this!?' 'Obviously! I bet those policemen will have the "Oh crap!" type of expression when they see us!'
The pair then quickly grabbed each other's hands and then twirled, in a instant, Double Dealer stood in the middle of the road, adjusting the dress they currently wore.
'Oh, we're going with the dress today? Nice, you kept it really clean!' 'Why thank you, I try! Now we have to agree on what to say, fast!'
The police cars braked a wary distance away from the lone Double Dealer, who gave a bow with a flourish, "Hello, Hello! We're so sorry but all these roads are hereby closed until our ally's job is done." Double Dealer begin a slow walk forward then leaned on the nearest police car, which noticeably dented the hood. "Uh, I think this is about time you start shooting?" This seemed to snap the policemen to action and they begin fumbling for their weapons which Double Dealer took as an opening.
They pulled an arm back and punched straight through the glass and onto the policeman, knocking him out cold. Ignoring any expected cuts on their arms, Double Dealer took cover near the hood of the car as bullets fired past in all directions. They cupped their mouth and yelled towards Limen's general location, "'K! The police guys are occupied so now you just need to move fast!

Limen shrugged at the two’s comment of her paranoia. It wasn’t like she could disagree. Living in the horde, where she could expect to be waylaid by a super on her way to pick up lunch because they wanted to say hello, and living as a maskless in Emerald City where making eye contact with an officer meant getting shot at, she’d begun to consider being attacked by a person who greeted her as normal as being offered a handshake.
Limen couldn’t help but be reminded of Giza at the two’s - now one’s - flourish. There was some serious showmanship to the way they defeated, or more accurately, wiped the floor with, the police officers. So not the Bulwarks, and a little too flashy for the shadowy ever-so-secretive Keepers; maybe they were part of pandaemonium? A new member or something.
While they worked, Limen did her own part. With the people of the docks and their law enforcement backup occupied, she was able to load the shipping container onto a semi without interruption and in good time. They’d probably just saved her a good ten minutes and an equal amount of arrows. Limen locked the controls and stepped out of the cockpit. Taking hold of the edge of the ladder, she slid down the long guardrails like a fireman's pole. It’d taken her several minutes of climbing to get up to the top, but it took less than one to make it to the bottom.
After sprinting to the semi, she made sure the container was properly strapped on (didn’t want that flying off) and got it running by messing with some stuff up front. Limen jumped into the front seat, set the thing in reverse, and floored it. She drove with no regard for the people or objects in her way - she didn’t care about costs and people could move - and brought the truck back into forward. She needed as much speed as she could get if she was going to clear these officers.
The semi-truck slammed full speed into the sides of two parked police cars. The two officers who had been standing there had both jumped out of the way and were sitting among the wreckage. She didn’t slow down as she passed, nor as she continued down the street to her exit, assuming the super had means of catching a ride if they wanted to. She hoped they did - she still needed to thank them for their help.
Between the super and the truck, the police were in no shape for pursuit. This would be a clean getaway.

Double Dealer laughed gleefully as the truck wreaked two police cars, too bad she didn't hit all the police cars! As Limen sped off, Double Dealer looked towards the knocked out policeman's car, well maybe it's a good thing there were some police cars left, they still wanted the spoils they deserved from Limen. They pulled the unconscious policeman out of his car, taking his gun out the last minute, they never shot a gun in their lives so that would be fun!
'Ooh! Ooh! Please, please can I use the gun first!?' 'Sure, I'll be driving, be prepared, I'm going to try to go, like, 90 miles per hour or something!'
Agreed on their roles, the pair split as they entered the car, the man in the driver's seat, the woman riding shotgun, while holding a handgun, ironic right? The man slammed the gas pedal hard, crashing into several police cars before speeding after the truck. A few brave policemen fired bullets after them but instantly stopped as the woman shot, many, many bullets behind the car her partner drove. The car quickly caught up the truck and the woman stuck her hands and head out the window, waving as the car slowed down to match the speed of the truck.
"Hey! What are we going to do now!?"

Limen switched on the truck’s radio to compliment the sound of the subdual of their pursuers. The more she thought about it, the more certain she was that these two had to be part of Pandaemonium. They left destruction and police cars crumpled like paper in their wake, and seemed too lack any regard for the state of living of the dock workers or cops. Too trigger-happy to be Bulwarks, too loud to be Keepers; all facts pointed to one thing - they were Pandaemonium. That, or they were unaligned, but why cause chaos alone when you can cause it with like-minded friends? They must just be new members she’d yet to meet. She’d have to give them a warm welcome when they arrived at their destination.
Loud rock music poured out of the window as she rolled it down. “Food bank, west part of the slums!” Limen yelled back to them, making sure to enunciate so if they couldn’t hear her they could at least read her lips.
She took a sharp left turn at a speed that threatened to tip the truck. In the rear-view mirror, she watched the port and the last of the brave pursuers (mostly docksmen on foot) shrink quickly into the distance. The food bank in question wasn’t far. The distance from the port here to the bank was half the reason she picked this dock as the one to borrow from, and it wouldn’t take more than five minutes of driving (at this speed) to reach it.

'Where'd she say to go!? West or east!?' 'I have no idea but watch her! See!? She's going to go left, we'll just follow her!' 'I dare you to, like, go on two wheels, right now!' 'Challenge accepted!'
The man threw the wheel to the side to follow Limen, succeeding in their two wheel dare. The duo let out a whoop, then threw their weight in the opposite direction, sure a crash was fun but they wanted to get to the food bank quickly! The rest of the wheels slammed back onto the ground and the man begin steadily speeding up until he was next to Limen's truck again.
'By the way, does she think we're not going to take a reward or something?' 'No, I think she thinks we're in Pandemonium! I mean those Pandemonium people are crazy awesome but some of the Keeper's info we actually want, you know?' 'Ok, so... what are we going to do? Should I just point this gun at her? I don't know, I kind of like her, she's not boring!' 'Just imply a threat, so we still get to hang around her!'
The food bank was probably going to show up soon, so the woman moved quickly, waving to get Limen's attention a second time in a row. "By the way, when are we going to get our part in the spoils? I mean, we're helping you out and all and we don't really think it's nice to not give us something, you know?"

“Spoils?” Limen yelled back. Were they hungry too? They seemed like the sort that could easily steal whatever food they wanted, but whatever. She wouldn’t question it. “Of course! We got it, we get first pick!”
It was only a couple minutes of driving through dirty back roads to get to the large food bank, set up in a repurposed and cleaned up warehouse. Limen pulled into the front, startling a woman in a long green dress who seemed to be locking up for the afternoon. Kicking open the truck door, she waved exuberantly to the woman. She waved tentatively back. This was not the first time Limen had been here, and though she wasn’t technically supposed to accept Limen’s help, she’d given up three times ago trying to chase the super off or get aid from other sources.
Limen trotted around to the back of the truck, lock picking tools in hand. The lock was easy to crack, but she waited until the duo was present and ready to haul up the lid, revealing the contents of the container.
“Ta-da!” She cheered, gesturing extravagantly to the contents.
A wave of cool air poured out of the container. It was full of compact refrigerators and shelves, and in those were plastic containers of fresh fruit and cardboard boxes of vegetables. Limen swung inside and grabbed the first container of blueberries on the shelf. Popping open the plastic, she tossed a couple in her mouth.
“You guys get half. Take whatever you’re lowest on.” She called over her shoulder to the lady. To the supers, she gave a grin. “And you, my friends,” she pointed dramatically to the duo, “get whatever you want. I think I saw some watermelon in the back.”

The pair leapt out of the police car as soon as they arrived, the woman carelessly leaving the gun on the dashboard, with some confused woman watching them. "Don't worry! We're not cops!" "If we were, we'd just, like, arrest who we don't like, you know? So yeah, were not cops!" The pair watched closely as Limen picked the lock, maybe they could figure it out, but whatever learning they were attempting instantly got shoved out of their heads by the sight of what was inside the truck.
'Oh my God! I was just thinking I wanted some fruit!' 'Was that fruit specifically a watermelon, 'cause Limen just said there's one in the back!' 'There is!? Show me, show me!'
The pair pushed past every container, before finding what was probably one of the most perfect watermelon either of them have ever seen. One twirl later and the fused Double Dealer returned, rolling the watermelon like a ball. "Alright people! Let's see how hard it is to smash a watermelon!" Double Dealer raised both of their fists then brought them down, hard. The watermelon practically splattered and Double Dealer themselves got splattered by the poor smashed watermelon, a huge smile on their face.
'Why did we never do that before!? That was amazing!' 'I don't know, but if we ever think to do something new, we do it!' 'Deal! Now let's eat!'
The duo split, then scrambled around for any intact pieces of watermelon, there was actually quite a few! The woman placed one piece near Limen as well, "This piece is yours, watermelon is, like, the best fruit ever! I mean, hands down!" She ran back to her partner's side, who was already eating his share of intact watermelon.

Limen came to sit on the corner of the door on the back of the truck and dangled her legs off the edge. The lady at the food bank tiredly made her way up into the truck (taking special care not to get in the way of any of the supers) and began taking note of the stock. Feeling quite content with her work and little box of blueberries, Limen popped more of the small blue fruits into her mouth as she watched the duo and their watermelon. She cheered when they smashed it into a mess of watermelon chunks, and happily took the piece the woman gifted to her.
“Isn’t it?” Limen agreed cheerfully, motioning for them to come sit beside her and taking a large bite out of the chunk of watermelon. She made a point to not wipe the seeds off her face. “So, you guys are new to Pandaemonium, right? How’re you liking it?”

''K, so Limen definitely thinks were in Pandemonium 'cause were all fun and stuff. Should we tell her about the fact were in the Keepers?' 'I think, I mean it's not like we're some goody twoshoes, you know?' 'Oh, yeah! The Keepers and Pandemonium have, like, a bunch of "morally undecided" people, too bad the Keepers are so boring.'
The woman stuffed the rest of the watermelon into her mouth, holding her sticky hands carefully away from her fancy dress, "Ooh, by the way? We're not in Pandemonium, like, we been in the Keepers just recently, so I guess that's why you were kind of confused." The man gave whatever watermelon he had to his partner then continued her sentences. "But seriously, if we didn't want all the info the Keepers have we would definitely be in Pandemonium, you guys are so fun! In the Keepers, everyone's just as robotic as the actual robot!" The duo both burst out laughing, obviously thinking their joke was very funny.

Keepers? These two were Keepers? "You don't say!" Limen chuckled, attempting to keep the ounce of hesitancy from creeping into her voice.
These two were part of that shadowy group of villains, the one more likely to backstab you than a knife flying at your shoulder blades, and with the entrance 'ritual' that supposedly sat on the border between insane and more likely to kill you than an angry bear? The stories she'd heard through the grapevine, while probably mostly false, were enough to give an entire wrestling confederation nightmares for months. They were right; Limen was confused.
And a little bit worried. Keepers weren't exactly known for getting along with Pandaemoniums, and the fact that her faction was fun was not going to make a bullet to the back suck any less. "Well," Limen grunted, getting to her feet, "thank you guys for helping me out."
The woman running the food bank had already begun carting large boxes of food down. Her experience with this was quite evident; she'd be done in no more than a couple more minutes. Limen began striding back around to the front of the truck. Her eyes were scanning for any other nearby vehicles. "Wish I could do more to thank you two, but poor ol' Limen is living off stolen food. Afraid I've only got my thanks and best wishes to offer." She shrugged with her arms out beside her.

"Yeah we do say, didn't you, like, hear us?" The woman answered, her mouth full of watermelon.
'She didn't look scared of us at all! That's like, really, really weird!' 'I know, most "villains" kinda seem scared of the Keepers no matter what, except for us.' 'Yeah, we wouldn't be scared of the Keepers even if we weren't in it, you know!?'
The duo looked up, both frowning as Limen announced she couldn't give anything else to them. "Then let us stay back here and eat some more, I mean, duh!" "We're obviously still hungry, you know!" The pair sat still in the truck, holding the boxes of food they wanted.

She’d spotted a motorbike parked just a short way down the street. A car would’ve done just fine, but this was even better. Taking off at a jog, she called over her shoulder, “Of course, you guys did help me steal it! Take as much as you want!” Or the rest of it, if they wanted it. It wasn’t like the woman was going to stop them, and Limen wasn’t quite sure she wanted to try either if it came down to it. She had been planning to take the rest of it to the horde, but the food bank could use as much as it could get and she didn’t want to risk aggravating two Keepers. Back at the port she’d been willing to, mostly because she’d honestly been expecting to get attacked, but now, after both seeing their abilities and having eaten enough for the day, she was plenty happy letting this one go.
And so Limen went about messing with the front of the bike, and pretty soon its engine was running smoothly. She drove it back to the semi to hop off and grab one more box of fruit.
“On second thought, I’ll leave this here!” Limen called to the woman, once again on her newly acquired bike. The woman acknowledged her tiredly.
She turned to the duo. “And this concludes today’s show. Until we meet again, friends?” She asked, giving them as much of a dramatic bow as she could while sitting on a motorcycle.
