A city of supers. A city of gods.
...At least, that's what it should be.
But its not. Its a city of pretenders and cowards. Khan had no interest in being either and he was sure he wasn't the only one. Its still very early, both in the day and in the stages of his preparation but now was as good as any to start trying to find some of those that stuck out over the others, ones that rose above the rest. Where better to start than at the very bottom? Khan wanders the slums, hoping there will be somebody of interest. So far the week has proved fruitless but he was a patient man. He could wait.

Dawn was nearing, and Gilgamesh's night was winding down. His normal haunt was the docks where he had made it a habit to terrorize the night life. The violent bottom of the barrel. Not because these gangs were technically competition to Pandemonium and the rackets that they ran. He cared very little for any of that. He did it for the thrill. Facing off against multiple opponents, often times armed opponents sent a thrill through his spine. And hearing the cries of pain, feeling the snapping of bone, and the warmth of blood splattering made him feel more alive than anything else this city had to offer.
Well, almost anything. On a good night one of those so called Supers found their way to his neck of the woods and would try to put a stop to him. The reasons varied, but the hope of finding a worthy challenger kept him from giving up his search. Despite disappointing night after disappointing night. Tonight was shaping up to be another in his long string of disappointments as he stood on the dock surrounded by the broken and battered bodies of Widowmakers. Unlucky bastards who had been absent when he had taken out their old leader. But it was no matter, he was nothing if not giving. And he had spent plenty of time giving them his full attention so that they would not feel left out.
"Not even a scratch.... Such a shame."

"For them or for you?"
Khan rounds the corner, peeking out of a shadow as he gestures between them.
"You shouldn't be concerned with the former, and if its the latter...you should have chosen more challenging opponents."

"I accept all comers."
He said without turning to face the voice. Another hero? A random person off the street? It mattered very little. Because if he was going to keep up with this lecture than Gilgamesh would silence him. And if thought he could do better than this gang of trash, well he would welcome the chance to have a proper challenge.

"Why?" the question comes void of judgment.

He'd whip around to face the voice at the question. His hood obscuring his face in shadows so nothing but his jaw showed. However between the small splatter of gang banger's blood speckling his chin there was a distinct smirk. One of pride and superiority. One of someone free of doubts about the path that he was on.
"If you can prove yourself worthy you will have your answer."
Gilgamesh would slip his right leg back and extend his arms out into a Muay Thai stance. He didn't have time to explain himself to every passerby on the street. And with dawn quickly approaching he'd like to either finish the night with a pleasant surprise or be done with this before more of his time was wasted.

"A test? Very well, you beat me to it." He smirks under his mask, folding his arms behind his back as he lifts his chin.
"Lets see if you can beat me to the punch again--more literally this time."

It seemed like instead of rushing for him like the last few people had done this fighter was waiting for him to make the first move. Very well, he could do that as well. Though he wasn't planning to go for a punch, not this time. He wanted to see if this guy was even worth his time, so he was going to start off with something that has a bit more impact.
He'd burst toward the challenger with mind blowing speed, coming in low before propelling himself upward with his legs, driving his right knee forward for a flying knee strike aimed right at the challenger's solar plexus.

The raised chin quickly nods down. Along with Khan's head, Gilgamesh would find his entire body dropping down as well. The same momentum coming forward with his flying knee would shoot downward, looking to impact knee first (and perhaps face second) into the pavement.

The knee had barely had a chance to glance the challenger before his leg was violently thrown down by... something. The guy hadn't done a move, which meant that he was one of those gifted assholes. Well, that wasn't about to stop Gilgamesh. There was always a way to beat these prodigies. It wouldn't be the first time, and it wouldn't be the last time.
Gilgamesh's knee slammed down hard into the pavement, his hands catching himself before his head did the same as he felt his body being pushed downward. He'd attempt to push his body up with his hands and bring his lower torso swinging around for the challenger's ankles to sweep him off his feet. The plan for now was to keep him guessing while he figured out his best move.

Khan squints, shaking his head as he hops back to avoid the sweep. The man was faster and certainly more powerful than he looked. He felt a slight ache in his jaw already, cursing himself in his head for being lazy enough to let that happen.
He reaches out his left hand to the side, waving it towards Gilgamesh as the dumpster against the wall slide towards him at impressive speed, looking to ram him into the opposing alley wall.

Khan avoids the sweep attack as he moves out of Gilgamesh's range leaving him with no option but to recover his footing. Though it would seem that the moment he is able to do that the dumpster would sideswipe him as they both crashed into the nearest warehouse's outer wall.
If he had been any normal person the force of the dumpster would have taken him out and pinned him to the wall. As it was his body aches from the impact, but he was unwilling to just be beaten like that. Ranged fighters always thought they had the advantage.
Well he was used to having a handicap. It just made things more interesting. From his position between the dumpster and the wall he really only had one good move, and that was to shove the dumpster back at the challenger with all the force he could muster. Best case it took him by surprise and nailed him. Worst case is it took him by surprise and ended the fight early.

Fool him once shame on you, fool him twice, well, you know. Khan didn't intend to drop his guard again and watches carefully as the dumpster is thrown back at him. Rather than fight force with force again and risk not being able to halt the dumpster in time, Khan propels himself up and forward with a sudden burst of speed. He jumps over the dumpster and towards Gilgamesh, looking to take HIM by surprise this time as he covers the distance with a superman punch with his metal left arm.

Gilgamesh was ready for the inevitable counter. Though he had expected him to just send the dumpster back at him. So when he saw the masked fighter flying at him instead with a Superman punch. Gilgamesh would leap forward with great force toward the masked fighter, rotating his body mid air to try and make the blow whoosh right past him as he brought a hook down toward the back of his head. Even if the guy could repel him somewhat with whatever power he had, he was still certain that the masked fighter would still go flying toward the ground.

It goes off mostly how Gilgamesh intended, Khan's punch missing just barely as Gilgamesh's hook connects. It feels like he hits rubber as his hand bounces off, but Khan's body crashes into the ground where he ducks and rolls in an attempt to get to his feet and spin a 180 to face him.
