In all honesty, for the past few years Aiden didn't have many responsibilities to attend to. He worked at the florist long enough to be able to afford the basic necessities, such as food and rent and anything else of the same likeness. Even so, he never really spent much time at the cheap apartment that could technically be called him home. It was cramped, dark, and he'd neglected to get himself an internet connection tied in to the basic costs.
He was okay with that though. If he only ever went back there to sleep or change, what exactly did the state of things matter? The streets had a way of calling his name, reminding of jobs that needed to be done. He'd taken up a personal project, and that took up far more time than his literal job ever could. Maybe that's why he'd been so exhausted lately? Sleep was pretty important to the majority of humans, and he'd not exactly been getting his eight hours.
Though he chose to blame his shoulder instead, sore and stiff as if baring a still fresh wound. No such injury was in sight though, only an aged looking scar clearly visible underneath the strap of a sleeveless top. Even though it gave the appearance of an old accident, his awkward movements somehow seemed to suggest it was far more recent. He'd considered covering the unsightly thing up with a jacket, but he'd never survive like that on a hot summer day. That was especially true in the back of this fast food restaurant, the air conditioning apparently unable to decide if it wanted to behave properly or not. It stopped in started in sputters, ungodly loud at times but still occasionally offering a reprieve from the heat.
A large order of fries and a half empty soda set to the side, Aiden could be seen absorbed into his own world and typing on the laptop he'd brought in. It was obvious enough that he was only there for the free wifi, but the employees seemed familiar enough with the young man. Maybe even a bit friendly, all things considered.
When it came down to it, he could admit he'd been falling behind on his personal projects. What would anyone think if they realized that the majority of his work was updated like this? Two different word documents were open on his screen, a photo editor hidden behind that with many tabs open. His documents hid the pictures for the moment, and the font was small enough that it couldn't be read on accident. Typing out a few sentences, Aiden munched on a few fries with an absentminded air. He was in his own secluded world.
