"He seems pretty cool." She nods and slips her foot into its proper shoe, turning from him as she does so. Though her back is turned, one could almost sense the smile on her face as she begins strapping her small arsenal back into place. It felt like she was forgetting something when she didn't have them; she doubted any angel would approve of her methods.
"Maybe, but you should probably, you know, deal with the consequences of that risk." She chuckled and slid her jacket back on, her surprises disappearing from sight as she turned back to him.
"Dunno if other angels would agree, but if it works, sure." She shrugs, a small hint of pink at her cheeks at the praise and more than happy for a distraction.
"Motor head?"

"I should and I think I kinda am just relaxing while not in drowning, chances of survival have shot up."
Sanduleak laughed as he glanced at each weapon, trying to name each item in his head but some of those seem a bit out of his league. Jeez he was glad it didn't hurt that much to laugh or he would've passed out from the pain by then.
"Eh other angels are boring in comparison then, oh and uh if a car offers to fix you up just don't let it, trust me...and that's not like a head injury thing it's really real...why'd you help me again out of curiousity I'm a crazy villain not known for uh being nice?"
He blamed the head injury for his sudden question, it was removing a few limiters on his curiousity as he still barely knew anything bout the person that potentially saved a villain's life.

"I would hope so," her smile turns wry at the turn on her words, unoffended as she plops down beside him with casual grace. Her brows rise even higher as he starts talkign about a talking car.
"I'm sure they'll be proper jealous, then. But you sure you didn't hit your head a little too hard?" Talking cars, Sanduleak? She's worried now. he seems coherent enough to keep up with the conversation, however. His final question draws her attention as she gives a quiet, thoughtful hum and studies him a moment, seeking out something beyond what the mask hid.
"Are you saying you'd rather I left you in the lake?" She gives a small, nervous chuckle and waves her hand.
"Everyone needs saving at some point in their life, right? And you can't be all bad if I'm still in one piece." Unlike some people who do the exact opposite.

"Dullahan, you ever hear of him avoid him, 'specially if you're injured."
Was the short concise answer to her question about the hitting of his head. He wished his head didn't have that ache bouncing around his skull, be easier to catch onto her quirks but all the moment he may as well have had some normal sight. Though in spite of said ache he had to shake his head, people-no persons amazed him sometimes.
"Jeez no no no, I like living in spite of my life style and profession but I don't know that's hard to take in...not a lotta people have that view and it's um refreshing to hear."
Her statement was almost as mind boggling as his injuries.

"Kidding, kidding." She chuckles and waves at him again with a reassuring expression, trying to make her intent more clear since his wits were still pretty addled. She does somber a bit at the mention of Dullahan, whoever that was. Apparently she had research to do on more than one super.
She doesn't say much to the latter comment, leaning back on her hands to look up at the sky instead. It was difficult to explain how she felt about supers, especially since she was supposed to be one of them like this. And yet, it had been another super who had seen what she would do in the name of humanity, the messages she'd painted across the walls of the city and high in the air. How did those compare to this?
Easily. She rose above it.
"I think it depends on a person's experience, sometimes. But not all bad is equal. From what i hear, there are some questionable 'good guys' out there." Shrugging, she looks back at Sanduleak with mild concern and doubt.
"You sure you're gonna be okay to get wherever you need to go?"

"I hear that"
Sanduleak immediately replied to her comment about the questionable 'good guys', he heard a few stories bout some of those idiots. Well guess he couldn't exactly say that without a being hypocrite, considering he was probably a questionable 'bad guy' sometimes...not that he was ever going to admit that fact. Huh she asked an important question, where the heck was he going and how was he getting there?
"Now I'd love to say, sure I can move it but eh I feel the pain and need to ask if you got a place a uh certain masked individual could get to and lay low at so he can recover from a killer headache."
Pride was something Sanduleak did not have in great supply, but it still hurt asking for the assistance especially from someone he barely knew and had already saved his life. How do you make up something like that? That was a question that had be answered by a not brain dead sanduleak.

There was rising above it, and then there was just dumb. Canary didn't miss the fact that Sanduleak was unable to provide a place to go, and frankly, it was a good move regardless of whether or not he was faking have no place to go. Why let another person, especially a super, in to your own territory? So much could be learned from that one moment, and that same thought made her hesitant to do the same.
Okay, so he was a villain, but he was a super. For all she offered her condolences, was it really worth bringing him to safety? He was out of the water, so he wasn't going to die. Probably. Then again, maybe said giant would come along and finish the job and turn him into a smear on the ground. Maybe whatever Sanduleak did was worthy of the free trip to the lake.
"I may have a place," she admits after a few moments of thought. He didn't seem the sort to fuss if it wasn't posh, and most of her supplies were out of her current hiding place anyway. Regardless of how much his focus was shattered, she'd have to move someplace else afterward, but then, a little B&E never hurt anybody. Usually.
She rolls up onto her feet from her sitting position, teeth clenched at the pain the movement brings her, but Canary is still all smiles for the person she just saved, offering him a hand.

Sanduleak's mind was slowly clearing and catching up to the rest of him, making him realize what he had just requested of again the super who saved and barely knew him...The hell was wrong with him, it'll be a miracle if she doesn't kick him or use one of those gadgets to send him flying back into the lake, and he wouldn't blame her. How ungrateful could you get that you ju-did she just say yes? Sanduleak actually did a bit of a double take when he heard comment about a place and then stood up. Though now with a clearer mind he was able to notice some minute details like her rolling up apparently causing a bit of pain, but kept it to himself for the moment, if she didn't want to bring it up he shouldn't ask. He accepted her assitance and was lifted up into a standing position with a bit of groan, yup that was to be expected.
"You do uh realize for all this you essentially got a Pandemonium super to owe ya favors for like at least a year right?"

Oh, she knew. Canary also made note of the plural favors and the length of time he was willing to give on. It was tempting to barter, her smile turning impish as she pulled him up.
"It's something to remember." Once both are on their feet, she nods in the direction they'll be heading in, walking alongside him in case he needs it.
"I'm assuming you're not going to fuss if it's not five star quality," she warns.

"...long as no cops or supers attack me at it I won't complain a bit."
Sanduleak quickly confirmed, he wasn't expecting high quality just a place where he wouldn't be attacked and could rest for a bit. Plus her company was kinda bonus considering she wasn't a complete moron like most good supers.
"and please keep the favors relatively simple, I'm not a very publicly liked super and attempt to keep my rep at that instead of completely hated or loved."

"Oh no, you'll be safe from them." Canary could leave him in some hole in the wall that would beg attention or a raid, but he was Pandemonium, so that was a bad idea. She didn't need him deciding revenge would be how he returned that particular favor.
"I'll keep that in mind." Nodding, she leads him towards the slums, stopping before they reach the outskirts, leaving the buildings in better condition than he might expect, complete with security systems!
Right up until Canary decodes the lock and lets him go inside. The place is little more than a hole in the wall, not enough to need the security except that she deemed otherwise. Inside, the place is outright sterile, a twin bed in the corner with clean sheets and a door opening up to a bathroom. There's a cooler in the corner and a dim ceiling light with a fan whose blades don't match. The curtains are drawn despite it being dark out.
"You should be good here."

"Huh I like what you've done very...hospital like"
Sanduleak commented as he glanced around, it was obvious she was being secretive about the location and probably had one or two more hideouts. If she was a bit more violent he wouldn't have been surprised to see the place end up burnt up on the news tomorrow. But those were the thoughts of a slightly rattled super.
"Thank you again, I'll leave soon as I can."
He glanced around before sitting against the walls, happy to just relax a bit and let his body heal, also repairing the costume's 'material' was definitely gonna be a bitch. Well the calculations would have to wait for now.

"Yeah, well, you'll be fine here. Anything solid's not going to be able to get through the door without you knowing about it." She assures him of this as she checks the alarm. She glances as he sits down against a wall, the nods to a nearby closet.
"There's a folding table and chairs in there if you want something other than the bed. Just stay out of the back streets and don't go left and you'll avoid the worst parts of the area. And the slums."

"Eh I'm sure I won't have to worry too much once this freaking headache goes away, then I'll be able to blast away whatever the hell decides to piss me off...but thanks for the advice."
Sanduleak said with a groan before small smiley emoticon appeared over his face while he gave a thumbs up. This was probably the nicest treatment he had received from a super...jesus this was going to be a pain to repay he bet.
"Any favors you'd like to call in now, so I may do them when I'm feeling more alive?"

Canary nods at his assurance, fervently hoping there would be no blasting of any variety. Breaking a hiding spot's location by choice was one thing; of course a super would consider it okay to do so. The smiley emote that he projected caught her by surprise, evoking a wry grin and soft chuckle. That was certainly interesting.
"Nothing right now, but I'm sure I'll find a way to get you when I do."
