It was a shame that the Bulwarks didn't really bother much with the slums. Given how their headquarters were located in downtown, most Bulwarks would play it safe, resulting in an unneeded congestion of heroes paying more attention to a place already being covered by others that were doing a decent job themselves. This had the side effect of making the more unfortunate places being neglected. One of these places were the docks, and the slums by extension. It was a cesspool of crime and debauchery, with the police and Bulwarks sharing equal blame for not doing anything about it. Titan himself had staked out the docks once or twice, his altercation with the murderous super (who he later found out was referred to as 'Gilgamesh') and his meeting Siren were both clear in his mind. Granted, a substantial amount of property damage was the result of his excursions out here, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. What motivated Titan to return to the docks this time was something that he became aware of following the ill-fated jewelry theft incident. The men that he fought were suspiciously well-armed. More well-armed than a dockside gang had any right to be. Someone must have been arming them, and after the revelation that the Keepers actually existed, Titan had an idea of just who was arming these gangs. Why they would do so was a mystery, but the reason for trying to collapse a road tunnel was also odd as well. Whatever, the reason, Titan needed to investigate, despite detective work not being his strong point And so he prowled through the alleyways of the Emerald City slums. He was an intimidating figure even at regular size, and the dark hoodie he wore to conceal the mask added to the menacing effect. All he had to do was find the right person to interrogate and he'd be on the right track. The only problem was that doing so was a lot easier said than done. He needed someone quite high up, with enough authority to have made personal dealings with the people that armed them. And so the 6'7 man strolled through the slums, ignoring the glares shot at him from both inside the buildings and on the streets. To find the right people, he'd need them to find him. It was when he was at a fairly empty street of the slums that a group of ne'er do wells decided (quite stupidly) that he was a viable target. While he would be able to deal with them easily, the risk for collateral in this place was at an all time high, given how cramped it was. Instead, Titan went into a narrow alleyway, where he could deal with a large group of thugs more easily at his normal size. Just as he predicted, both sides of the alley were suddenly blocked by some very angry looking men. They slowly approached him, before a large man (who almost rivaled Titan in size) with a mohawk spoke up. "You a mask, huh? Long way from home, buddy. Let's show this dumbass how we deal with supers in this part of town, boys" Loud whooping filled the alley as tattooed men brandished knives and other assorted weapons like pipes, chains and baseball bats. Fortunately, Titan only needed to deal with them two at a time. The first pair, made up of the ringleader and a crony, charged in first. As the mohawked thug came closer, he made a wild swing at Titan's head. The deceptively fast man simply ducked and grabbed the thug's legs before slamming him hard enough into the ground to incapacitate him. The crony attempted to stab him, but was simply met with a large fist slamming into his face, shattering his jaw and sending teeth flying. The other thugs were reluctant to charge, but still weren't letting up. Titan simply glared at them and readied himself. Who's next? Sanduleak

The docks were always an iffy place in Sanduleak's opinion, unlike their Horde location there was always a feeling of anarchy and danger with every step taken. Really he didn't care so much about the rival gangs, his temper's rep making most stay a safe distance away from him, but once in a while there'd be a gang fight he would feel need the step into. After all this was kinda his portion of the city and he had to take responsibility of it sooooooometimes. Course as he walked down the street, he expected the noise of whooping and weapons being drawn from the alley just ahead of him, which he would've ignored were it not for a mook being sent flying out of it with busted teeth. Huh gotta be a super right? Peeking down the alley, he saw several rival gang members most likely ganging up on the familiar masked...holy crap it's twenty foot guy...well he's got this handl-click.
"OI They gots another ones back here, a big wig too if I remembers right"
Sanduleak clenched a fist and held back a growl as he turned slightly to see the dumbass gangster who decided he was worth pointing a gun at. So he wanted a showdown huh.
"So Thumbs Up Guy need a hand?"
After the question was asked, he released a bright right into the man's eyes before a revolver appeared which he used to shoot him in the foot. Wouldn't kill him but man was that going to hurt like a bitch.
"Alrighty who's next? We got two guys versus a band of animals"
The smirk on his face may as well have been visible as Sanduleak flashed a shotgun and revolver into existence, he had to keep the violence to a minimum because of so many other Supers calling dibs on gansters and cause he'd probably his newest super partner.

Another pair attempted to rush Titan, managing to find some form of false courage by remembering how they outnumbered the massive super. Before the man behind Titan could even do anything, he was grabbed by the collar and hurtled towards the thug in front of Titan, yelping on the way. He smacked hard into the other thug, and before either could even recover, Titan followed up with a powerful front kicked that slammed hard into both men, making them fly even further back and into the crowd behind them. The sheer impact resulted in a domino effect, as they were knocked backwards by the combined force of two grown crashing into them. With that side currently occupied, Titan could draw his attention to the other end of the alley. Grabbing the back of the head of some thug, Titan brought his face down hard onto his knee, knocking him out instantly.
It was around this point Titan heard a gunshot. He almost instinctively grew when he realized that it wasn't directed at him. Looking behind the crowd of men who weren't sure whether to be angry or terrified, Titan saw someone familiar. It was that guy who helped put out the fire earlier. What was he doing here? Other Bulwarks didn't seem to hang around the slums, so it was a surprise, if a rather pleasant one. Had he been the one who fired that gun? Wasn't very hero-like, but he didn't have time to concern himself with such things. Instead, Titan continued fighting, grappling against the blades and blunt objects that the thugs wielded. It was always good to have someone help you out in a fight, especially with odds like these.

As usual he heard no response to his shout, he should've been used to it but it was a bit odd. Guy was quieter than Dullahan in that respect, least he wasn't as creepy. With a shrug, Sanduleak swung his arm and flashed his helmet again causing walls to suddenly appear in front of more gangsters who just bounced off them like morons. Unfortunately it appeared his guns had to be used more as threats than actual weapons as the risk of hitting Thumbs Up Guy was too high. God why did he have to be such a large target?...Why wasn't he a larger target?
"Oi thumbs up, why don't you just grow and knock these guys out all at once?"
The question wasn't with his usual annoyance but instead curiosity in spite of him dodging a knife or two while slamming the thugs into walls of light. Why didn't he just become a flipping titan and flick these guys.

As he pummeled the remaining thugs that weren't knocked out or in too much pain to fight back, Titan ignored the other super's complaint that he didn't grow in size and easily take care of these goons. This guy clearly didn't pay much attention to his surroundings. Either that, or he just didn't care about collateral. Titan hoped he was just stupid rather than callous. Or stupidly callous. Not much of a difference really. Finally, there was not a single thug left standing, and they were all probably wishing that they hadn't started the fight in the first place, if they were even still conscious. This gave Titan an opportunity to ask some questions about the arms dealing in this part of town. Shooting the other super a thumbs up as a way of patting him on the back, Titan then brought his attention to the leader with the mohawk. While he attempted to crawl away, Titan quickly grabbed him by the hair and slammed his face down into the dirt. Leaning down, Titan growled right into the guy's ear, "The guns. Who's supplying them?"
The gang leader let out a wheezy chuckle before answering Titan's inquiry, "Hell if I know. You think we're packing some heavy heat? If we did, we would've used it on you supers first chance we got. My gang ain't got someone handing us guns like candy, but I heard some talk of the Street Sharks getting some shiny new hardware. What's it to you anyways, a bunch of normal guys like us are small fry compared to those Pandaemonium freaks. But it looks you don't care too much about that, considering you got him hangin' around..."
Titan spun around to see the other super. Was he really Pandaemonium? He couldn't have been, he helped save lives. Pandaemonium didn't do stuff like that...

Shaking his hand as if to get dirt off of it, the armament and walls disappeared in a flash before he glanced over at Titan as he slammed the guy into the ground, it was brutal but that wasn't exactly what caught his attention.
"Holy shit! you can talk?!"
For the past week, Sanduleak had just figured that the guy was a mute or something, could've been something to do with super genes but still shocker to hear him speak. Then the guy currently eating dirt decided it was his turn to speak at least ten times as much as his growing friend. Huh always did wonder where they got that tech, it was becoming a bit of a pain to deal with it. Oh and now he's glaring at m-
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY ABOUT PANDEMONIUM!?"
Stomping over to the one who incited his wrath, he crouched down with a hard glare behind his mask. He refused to allow some punk who probably didn't know basic math, to insult some of his friends including the one who currently had a grip on his head.
"Don't you ever call us freaks or we'll freaking rip you a new one, right man?"
He glanced up and felt a bit of worry in the look Titan appeared to be giving him, he was going to agree with him right? They were both pandaemonium and like brothers in arms right?

Titan ignored the other super's surprised exclamation, as he was more focused with keeping the gangster's head firmly planted into the ground. For all intents and purposes, Titan was an ordinary man in his regular size, if a naturally strong one, so he had to exert a not insignificant amount of effort. Of course, it looked like the other super was the one needing restraining once the thug insulted Pandaemonium, all but confirming the dreaded suspicion that this guy was from Pandaemonium. And by the looks of it, he thought Titan was a member too. Titan released his grip from the thug and stood up, looming over the other super and glaring at him from underneath his mask. He felt almost obligated to fight this guy, considering his affiliation. But then again...he did help put out that fire earlier. Titan was going to give this guy the benefit of doubt and assume he was one of the better Pandaemonium members. Out of the corner of his eye, Titan could see the gang leader trying to run off, and without even turning his head, the man was put into a constricting one armed headlock that prevented his escape. Squinting down at the shorter man, Titan growled, "Explain yourself"

Sanduleak raised an eyebrow and almost felt the urge to take a step back from the glare but he felt some stubbornness and confusion kick in. The hell was with him? What was there to explain, the guy in his arm was being a moron and now Mr Thumbs Up was slowly becoming one as well. Was stupidity infectious? Shaking off the demeaning thoughts, the super decided to respond.
"What do you mean explain yourself? I'm Sanduleak, ya know with pandemonium just like you, and these guys are being the biggest god damn idiots in the neighborhood for attacking us."
He wasn't going to mention them causing trouble in the area was personally aggravating to him, Thumbs up didn't need to know that.
"I don't quite see the issue here, but if you're going to attack me, I'll have you know I have a bit of trouble holding back."
A bit of a bluffer as well but Sandu couldn't help it, he'd prefer not to fight his partner in kinda crime.

As the guy kept on trying to struggle his way out of Titan's grip, he continued to glare at the masked man who called himself Sanduleak. Titan had heard the name thrown around. Some guy from Pandaemonium that did a few harmless crimes, no cases of murder or anything like that. At least he still had that going for him. If he turned out to be like Gilgamesh, Titan didn't know what he'd do. Probably pummel him into the dirt, or at least die trying. But Titan managed to calm himself down and try to assess the situation sensibly. He already was in Titan's (sort of) good books for his previous heroic deeds, so maybe it wouldn't be all too bad to have him help out for just this occasion. Two heads were better than one, after all. But some confusion still needed to be settled.

"Well that's a weird nam-...WHAT!?"
Sanduleak had casually brushed it off but then it clicked. The silent guy in front of him wasn't a flipping pandemonium, he was a bloody Bulwark...was it THAT bad though? Sure Bulwarks as a whole were morons, they tried to work with the police, most had a worse public image than himself, and a few were complete jackasses. This guy though didn't fit that criteria. Thumbs up was a cool enough guy, didn't publicly declare his actions, and actually successfully helped him with that fire without causing any collateral damage. If anything the super was admirable. Not that he was going to admit it. In as casual a fashion as he could muster, he attempted to shrug off his previous exclamation.
"Alright...uh so what you wanna fight about it?"

Sanduleak's panicked outburst was predictable. Pandaemonium members weren't big fans of Bulwark, given their habits of meddling in their affairs, so Sanduleak's reaction was a given. Thankfully, he didn't immediately lash out at Titan like others would have, instead trying to compose himself and somehow make Titan forget that he had a brief emotional explosion just a few moments ago. They could maintain a somewhat friendly relationship, or a non-hostile one at least. When Sanduleak made the proposal to have a fight, Titan just shrugged. A fight would be pointless and needlessly destructive. Sure, their opposing sides made a fight obligatory, but Titan found no reason to actually start anything. As long as this Sanduleak guy didn't go out of line, they'd work fine.
"Nah. Name's Titan, by the way"

"Nice to meet ya, glad it wasn't something ridiculous like thumbs up guy hahaha"
Sanduleak chuckled while creating a chair of light for himself, this could work for him. Long as Titan wasn't annoying, Sandu wouldn't shoot him, and he was sure it the same for Titan. If he fucked up, he was getting tossed through a building like a freaking dart. What a wonderful and non-lethal relationship. With a grin Sanduleak leaned forward towards the gangster in his grip.
"Now I wouldn't dream of killing the dear fellow in your arms but I would prefer a little compensation for calling my friends freaks, if that is alright with you. If you'd prefer to tackle the problem yourself to make sure the violence is limited please be my guest, I just don't like us being called freaks."

So it was settled. No unnecessary punch-ups that would cause a lot of damage. Instead, a second unlikely team-up between a Bulwark and someone from Pandaemonium was official. But first, a little payback on behalf of Sanduleak. Of course he'd be a little offended at the guy calling his friends 'freaks' (though Titan was somewhat inclined to agree), and what was just one little smack to make things more or less even? Well, they already beat him and his cronies to a pulp, but Sanduleak was in need of a little satisfaction. Briefly releasing the thug from his chokehold, Titan immediately grabbed at his hair and pulled him in front of Sanduleak. Titan nodded at the other to get in a punch. It was the least he could do. Once they were done with this silliness, they could get to work.

Sanduleak was half tempted to summon a gun and shoot the guy's foot but realized he was being given an opportunity to punch the idiot...probably better to take that and ruin this newly formed team up when it had only been formed just a minute ago. Well in all honesty the super wasn't the physical type but he could easily make up for it, with a focus on his glove the light that formed had hardened and condensed before he socked him in the face, almost sending him flying were it not for Titan's grip. He began to shake his hands clean of blood with a small relaxed smile.
"Thank you I needed that, now what's next on the agenda that I assume you have."

Titan was quite impressed by Sanduleak's punch. He had to admit he didn't look like much, given the gangly frame and noodle arms, but not everyone was built like a Greek statue. The guy that Titan held was instantly knocked out by the blow, and he collapsed to the ground when Titan released his grip. Now, onto business. The gang leader had mentioned the Street Sharks making some arms deals earlier, so that was obviously their next stop. Given how they probably had some serious ordinance, Titan was glad that Sanduleak was tagging along. Once they dealt with the Sharks, Titan could politely ask their leader who exactly armed the gangs. All in all, a very sound plan. Titan liked how everything was coming together nicely, he'd just got a good lead which he was sure would reveal a lot of the mysteries that were nagging at his brain. He knew just where the Street Sharks were located, an area closer to the docks that had a lot of open spaces. Titan was pretty glad for that, since he could use his abilities without much concern. He beckoned at Sanduleak to follow, and off the unlikely pair went.
