Having fled the most recent battle against what seemed to be an onslaught of cats, Apex has finally reached the slums. While the actual damage inflicted to him by the furry soldiers was little to nothing, his pride had been scratched fairly hard and the overuse of his abilities had left him with a gaping hole in his belly that had need to be filled. Somewhere inside the beast, the man was trying to regain control over himself but found himself unable to do so as hunger boiled in his guts, seeking a way or meal to let itself loose upon. The air around the slums was filled with the stench of sweating humans and the noise of multiple conversations being whispered in dark shadows, both of which had become increasingly familiar to Apex after living in Emerald City for a few years. For a few seconds the mighty beast just stood there, scattered thoughts trying to focus on a single common target like leaves being blown around by the wind. The longer he waited though, the hungrier he was getting and the harder it became for him to sit still. With a silent growl his body shifted slightly to adapt to the situation, short black hair spreading over his body hiding most of it from plain sight and leaving just the blonde mane around his head. Suddenly a silent sound startled the beast and with inhuman speed he twisted around to see the tail of a small cat disappearing from the roof he had been sitting on. Apex' instincts kicked in and with a quick move he jumped after the animal.
When he landed he had already lost track of the small furry creature and instead found himself breaking through the low roof of a small pub. Even in his disconnected state could he feel the stares of several people digging into him. His eyes gave off a soft glow as his stomach growled threateningly.
Scheme: Rampage through the slums and satisfy your hunger!

Timezone probably shouldn't have been in a place like the slums, but honestly he didn't really see what was supposed to be so bad. Nobody tried shooting someone, he haven't gotten mugged or anything, and the only person who talked to him was just mostly complaining about the fact they didn't have a house to sleep in, sorta like normal people!
Then a monster, literally a monster, leapt onto a building right next to him, and reminded him he was kinda in a dangerous place. Still, he jumped into a fast forward to go inside the building as the roof collapsed 'cause of the monster on it. The people inside were frozen, they didn't even look at Timezone as he entered the building. Ok, so if the people here were scared to move then he'll just have to protect them from whatever this monster was!
Opposing: Superheroes protect people from anything, even in a place like this!

Lobisomem...wasn't exactly sure why they were following this beast. They were hungry, but all they were allowing themselves was plucking up a few dead rats, then continuing on. Anytime they caught the scent, Lobisomem's vision would threaten to turn red and the hunger would be forgotten.
The unknown beast wasn't hard to find, the noise and screaming of cats and people painted an audio trail right to him. What was he doing!? Several images passed through their mind, the broken roof, the gathered people, a somewhat familiar face, and...the beast staring hungrily at them.
For a horrific moment, they could barely contain the hunger that suddenly came back with a vengeance. With a self-loathing snarl, they tore their gaze away from the prey-no...people...they were people! This beast was going to eat them!
They sucked in a breath, letting the inhuman scent wash into them and stain the world in shades of red, "Get...out...GET OUT!"
They don't belong here, I'm already here!
Opposing: I don't eat people, and neither will you!

Envy felt drained. Murder tended to have that effect on her body. It took a lot of energy to kill someone, and once they were dead she couldn't easily refuel afterwards. The clothing that usually stretched to fit her body was starting to feel slightly loose. She was probably a little under five feet already. At this point she only wanted to go home and sleep, but she can't return noticeably shorter and thinner than normal.
Somewhere around here, Envy needed to find a suitable donor or two who wouldn't object to sharing her exhaustion. The thought of taking a little bit from everyone nearby did cross her mind, but that was more of an appetizer: nowhere near enough. What she needed was closer to a . . . three course meal.
As she passed through the otherwise nondescript slums, a certain building caught her attention. Rather, Envy noticed the supers halfway close to destroying some bar. They had to have powers, unless she missed the announcement that monsters exist alongside dragons. Stranger things have happened. Either way those guys were huge, and must be bursting with energy. Getting involved in their little situation ought to provide enough to get her back up to speed. “This'll do.”
Envy crept closer to the impending fight, ready to take a few bites out of these monsters on her way home.
Supporting: Let's feast on as much as we can, big guy.

Calico had frequent the slums knowing lots of cats and other animals were suffering there, the people here couldn't afford to keep their pets and abandon them when they can. It was terrible but that's what happens when the big man steps on all the little guy. The those that don't have a voice, like animals are then tossed aside and disregarded. That's why he was out here, helping them. Diamonds he had stole a previous day were cashed in by underhanded means and were paying off for food he was giving out to the needy in an alley way. Cats and dogs got wet food and there was sandwiches and water for the homeless. He even got some new clothes, and some simple toiletries. Basic necessities they didn't have. While he did this without expecting anything in return he did appreciate the thank you's he received. Even the dogs and cats they rubbed against him with much affection.
The night was running smoothly until he sense something, whatever it was it was big and dangerous. From across the street, a bar stood. There was something on top of the roof, it was small cat. That couldn't been it, unless his ring was acting up but it's not like it ran on lithium batteries. He watched as the cat disappeared from the roof, moments later a giant horrific creature jumped on the roof. It must've saw the cat too, looks like not only it missed but it was too fat for the roof of the bar to hold up because it was falling through. Quick cat eyes caught like a blip moving inside the building, Calico wasn't sure what that was about. The people in the alley way also has seen what was going on and decided to flee before a fight broke out. The cat that was on the roof ran to Calico and jump into his arms. He pet the cat a few times before setting it down so that it could eat.
The must've been people inside he could hear someone freaking out in the bar, another creature also joined the fray. It appeared to be a huge dog or wolf, his excellent night vision couldn't account for depth. Okay...this looked like it was going to get very out of hand, the bar was going to be destroyed at this rate. As Calico was climbing up the side of building where he was, he saw a woman heading there too. She looked normal but she didn't feel normal. The spirits of the cats that accompanied Calico in his ring simultaneously hissed. That was no ordinary woman, he wasn't sure what anyone's standing was inside the bar but he knew he was there to help. Those who were there to help him were allies for now. Those causing mess were probably enemies.
Calico maneuvered from one side of the street to the other via rooftops and jumped through the hole of the bar roof and onto a support beam. Emerald green eyes shifted about, taking in the number of people inside, where the exits were. He was going to see if he could evacuate the people out of here first before the creatures began tearing the place apart.
Opposing: If the lot of mew think that tonight will be a great feast, then mew are purrfoundly mistaken.

To say Toko was mildly annoyed would be an understatement on any bystander's part. He frequented this particular pub as he knew those who were close to death or debt willing to part with certain parts and now it appeared supers had come into his territory. Now this was far away from being his only area to farm some new ammunition but it was the principal of the matter as he attempted to enjoy a drink and smoke in his dark corner only to be interrupted. At first glance he would appear to be the calmest individual in the room, standing up while picking up his suitcase at his side and putting out a Gitanes with his shoe, then he faced the supers that had barged in and his killer intent flooded the area, somehow able to match the two monsters in that room.
"You appear to have forgotten your places, allow to me remind you of where you stand when you fall into my sights."
He always had some pent up frustration thanks to Kaz, and tonight was as fine a night as any to release upon some supers. It would appear that one of those beasts was going to eat his stock and the other would cause them to flee...desecrated corpses were easier to harvest than running civilians, looks like his side was determined.
Supporting: You have fallen into Death's sights, please try to survive longer than ten minutes...I have a LOT of aggression stored up.

Lobisomem grimaced as they were caught in the throes of the confusing fury that seized them, forcing their breathing into quick and ragged gasps, laced with snarls they couldn't stop.
The arrival of three supers, thankfully not bestial in appearance, added more chaos to their filled up vision. One blandly said he would "teach them a lesson"...enemy. Another smelled of blood and exhaustion, but Lobisomem felt their fur stand and their scales ripple at the sight...enemy. The last they noticed was a boy above them, that smelled strongly of cats for some reason, he seemed friendly enough.
Another whiff of the beast's scent threw their emotions back over the edge, everyone became labeled in regards to enemy or allies. They drew forward, and finally let their gathering snarls form into a dreadful howl.

"First things first, save the civilians, Timezone!" He ran to the nearest table, grabbing the arm of the lone, freaked out man. "Get up, get up! You're supposed to be running right now!" The man still stood up way too slowly but the run he started for the door was pretty fast for a normal person!
The 'saving the civilians' priorities would probably be going better if the monster wasn't, unfortunately, completely blocking Timezone away from the other civilians. Plus there was, for some reason, there was a guy with a suitcase who also seemed like a villain near the civilians, why he was upset, Timezone had no idea, just that this would make things kinda harder. Also there another monster in here but they didn't seem to like the villains so they were probably a hero, thankfully. "Ok, I need a new first things first, make the villains get outta the way!"

Calico watched the other supers in play, the creature that fell in, the hero helping the civs, the green lady whom the spirits did not like, and the strange man with the suitcase. It appeared that the creature, Apex was blocking the path from the civilians and their freedom. Calico scampered across the support beam, just over head the trapped civilians and jumped down neatly onto the bar counter. With a clawed hand held out, the thief pulled the trapped people over the counter so they could escape before the brawl would begin. Calico managed to get everyone out of the way so now it should be the supers inside the building.
With that Calico sat on the counter as a cat would, watching over the villains. The obvious ones, the green lady and the first creature. The super saving the scared man was obviously a hero. He could tell what the second creatures was, it was doing a lot of screeching so who knows. And the man with the suit, although he mention teaching others lessons Calico didn't think he would be that much of a threat.
"Nya.....now where do I begin?"

Apex' body began to move at the some time as his senses recognized the smell of one of the supers that had taken part in his previous battle. His mind however was to far from his body to understand whether the stranger had simply followed him out of curiosity or animosity. Instead his natural instincts kicked in, overwhelming the little control he had over his body and moving his head towards the nearest victim, a bland man of about 40 with a balding head and an old and worn suit. Before he could reach for him though he noticed a small kid jumping in between him and his target and motioning the man towards the door. Anger mixed with hunger and sought its way through Apex' lungs in a loud and enraged roar. His pupils seemed to vanish in a blue haze that seemed to swirl around deceivingly calm not unlike the ocean just before an incoming storm. With a quick movement his arm clawed at another person standing close by and to his frustration he found the person safely out of reach once again. A dark clothed person had pulled him over the counter and was now sitting on top of it himself. The following roar told of more emotions and thoughts than Apex could possible fathom at the current time and promised injuries and violence beyond anything a normal human would inflict. Its head tilted towards the two small persons inside the pub reacting with merely a somewhat curious twitch as another beast howled in response.

Envy felt a twinge of jealousy watching those boys move around with such vigor and determination. Her current lack of stamina prevented her from doing much at the moment, but all would be fixed soon. Deciding to intervene with whatever was going on appeared to be the right choice. Now if only she could find some way to keep them around for every time she needed to feast. Life would be a lot easier if didn't have to go searching for new targets each night.
Honestly, supers really were the best at everything. They were smarter, stronger, and so much more entertaining to play around with. No wonder their energy was always worth more than the average person.
“Heh hu, tehehehue...” The smile on her face made no effort to conceal her desire to fight these people. They would know soon enough. The effects of her power were usually subtle, but Envy saw no reason to hold back. Due to the heroes interventions, the majority of the innocent civilians were leaving the area. Tonight, she could have some real fun.

Time to run a quick of the resources and targets, currently there is a girl preparing to fight all of them, the beasts appeared ready to brawl, a little boy was being annoying and bulwark-like, and one annoying cat...cat's always hated them even though they were required for most rituals. A sly smile appeared on his face at a certain thought, perhaps it was better these individuals had interrupted him as super's parts were much more valuable in his line of work and research.
"No no, must not get excited in battle, leave that to kaz."
With the smile disappearing the same time that his case's locks were popped open, Toko allowed a moment for the smell of death to fill the air. There were at least three targets in his line of sight, all of which had potential to be made into something infinitely more useful.

Lobisomem was seconds away from blasting the women over the horizon when something unsustainable crashed into their chest. Their fangs ground as they forced their claws down, slamming the walls and ground until it was reduced to splinters.
The beast was still rampaging around, the desire to rip them to pieces was slowly boiling in Lobisomem's chest, even as the terrified screams of the hidden men and women drilled into their mind. The sight of the beast growing eyes didn't seem to faze them, but that was probably the red fog in their mind consuming all normal thought.
They started forward for another strike when a peculiar language rang in their ears, followed instantly by constricting...bones? The sensation of no movement, even when they strained, drove them into a frantic fury. A horrible scream erupted from their jaws as they clawed, twisted, and even clamped down on the grisly cage in their desire to escape.
They could feel fur and scales flicking off, but this was nothing to a furious beast.
