Bloodbath giggled softly as his creatures crawled for the dragon, he didn't even have to worry about not being useful, just by being here he was useful!
He started around the dragon as it slowed, tracing any outright body he could see, adding to his blood. He drew it back just in time to regret exposing himself. The rubble fell like rain, clattering against his slight body before he could bring up a shield. He had just enough time to see his bloody creatures being scattered before he was thrown backwards, suffocating darkness pressing on his chest.
Even without looking at the stream, he knew he just lost a ton of blood, having to had siphon the blood back into his body just to stay lucid. Miraculously, he wasn't buried too far, able to escape with just a push. He clasped a hand over his stomach, finding it sticky and numb.
Oh, that's a useful situation, ain't it?
Bloodbath nodded to this voices suggestions, pulling his hand away from the wound, coming away with a fair amount of blood.
A few blood creatures survived, wandering over to receive new order. That too he absorbed, adding back to his arsenal. He only left one, which received orders to chase after the dragon. He wrapped his arms around its neck, trying not to slip off its body as it lumbered after the burrowing dragon at a shockingly quick pace.
He whimpered and pawed at his mount as it started shuddering as they neared the dragon, swinging his legs up to cling like a child.
All the while he struggled to keep his bloodstream in place, eyes glittering as it formed a hooking shape.
Stop.
The order was made instantly, the blood creature almost throwing him off as it skidded to a stop. He flung the blood hook at the passing dragon, hoping to rip it open or even stop it, whatever happened first.

Giza finally noticed Aurora was right in the front of the bulldozer, and he sighed in relief that she’s okay. However he doesn’t have much time to celebrate when the dragon swing its tail all over the place, causing the paper he made to flew off its eyes, along with a bunch of cats and that giant Bulwark. As soon as the dragon slowed down its speed, it let out an ear-piercing sound that almost ruptures his eardrums.
When silence finally returned, he looked up and found a bunch of huge debris slabs started to fall on top of them. Without a moment to think, Giza pulled out the string of colorful handkerchiefs from his breast pocket and swing it out, forming a large shield enough to cover him and the bulldozer from the falling debris. Thanks to Miss Aurora’s intervening, not much debris got through the shield, but some of the larger chunk of debris fall on the building around them.
Looking at Miss Aurora’s expression, he could tell how shock she was seeing how much destruction this dragon can cause around them. Heck, even if all the Bulwarks joined in the fight and causing collateral damage all over, they don’t even match the same level of destruction like this.
He turned back to the dragon, and notice the eyes on its dorsal fin closed as soon as it saw Blue Jay attacking it. As much as he hated the sword-yielding moron with a passion, this dragon take priority; he must push aside his animosity toward Blue Jay if they were to make it out this fight alive.
Using the debris that his handkerchief shield managed to gather, Giza turned it into a large sling and began to hurl the debris collection straight toward its fin. As soon as they got close enough, the first half of the debris will explode into a bright flash that hopefully misdirecting enough for the true attack to strike. The second half of debris will turned into sharp spear-heads that could damage its eye.
"This one's for the city!!"

Anonymous managed to get out of the dragon’s way as hail of debris falling on the area around it. Good thing he managed to get enough common sense to take cover until the hail passed. During the moment that he grab hold of its thought, the alien thought was rather hard to comprehended, but he can still managed to make out three little words that really surprise him.
“Rescue?” he thought to himself, “is this thing trying to rescue something? Or is it asking to be rescue?”
He had heard many stories about dragon came and destroyed a city without a second thought, but now this whole thing feel odd. From the stories, dragons are just the force of nature that attack randomly, but this one seems to be smart enough to lure the supers into a trap, smart enough to dodge out of the incoming attack, and smart enough to actually have comprehensive thought. He thought he was getting used to surprise at this point, but he was wrong about that, apparently.
He was rather hope that he can at the very least able to make a conversation with this creature, but he doubt the creature is in the mood to be diplomatic now that many supers tried to attack it. As of right now, the safety of the city take priority over being peaceful with it; he would, however, like to actually talk to one of them if he has the chance without it destroying a city.
Seeing the creature always burrow its body and how its tail swing around too much, it is really hard to get a hold on where it might move to. And that horrible sound it let out was even worse than Unhallow’s migraine-inducing ability. Anonymous need to think carefully about what he should do next since he can’t seems to find its weak-spot anywhere. He turned to Khan, who hopefully is taking cover somewhere, and answered his question from before:
“What I make of this, is that you Keeper better get moving on taking it down rather than making small talk. Time is wasting, boy, and that thing isn’t gonna wait for you to get ready like a girl on her first date.”
Even though this creature isn’t something from this world, it could still have a similar neural system as a living creature, right? In order to find that out, he decided to test out his little experiment: once he managed to get a hold of the creature’s fin protruding out from the ground, Anonymous began to decrease its pain threshold and increase its pain receptacle so that it can feel everything strike on it, whether it is a tiny pebble or a sword from a certain Bulwark boy. If all thing goes well, this dragon is about to learn a different meaning of the phrase “excruciating agony”.

Stunt Double spread his arms incredulously as the dragon failed to launch an attack that he could intercept. "Come on, at least humor me with a piece of rubble or something!"
Then the rocks fell, and Stunt Double had to run for cover or else risk being trapped. Swapping to try to protect someone from that attack would be an exercise in futility, given that he'd be just as likely to swap someone into the path of a rock that was going to hit Stunt Double's own original position. There was nothing to do but cover his head and take the beating. At least he was used to this sort of thing.
It was annoying, though, Stunt Double thought to himself as the dragon went off toward downtown. The fight was on, but Stunt Double might as well not have been here so far.
Then one of the speedier supers brushed past Stunt Double in pursuit of the dragon. Without even double-checking the super's identity, Stunt Double swapped with them. If they were speedy enough to catch the dragon, then getting set back a bit by Stunt Double's swap wouldn't really inconvenience them, right?
The momentum Stunt Double retained as he swapped carried him straight into one of the dragon's eyes.

Khan jumps back a few steps, looking to get away from the initial brunt of the attack but seemingly unconcerned with most of the debris as he crosses his arms, any objects smaller than a full sized vehicle bouncing off him harmlessly.
"So you know nothing than."
Khan snickers at anonymous, shaking his head. He doubted that was true, but if he did have any other information he clearly wasn't interested in sharing it. Any further conversation would be a waste of time, as Anonymous had alluded.
"Out of the way."
Khan walks towards the dragon, bumping the other super if he was in fact in his way as he holds out his right hand, looking to yank open the eye lid of the dorsal fin, trying to tear at the sensitive tissue around the eye and expose it for another super's attack atop the dragon. If he was to rip this thing open, this was as good a spot as any.

In response to Destructo's quip, Dullahan responded in a voice that was deadpan even by his synthesized standards. "Difficult to be the face of optimism when one lacks a face." Then, he noticed the dome of rubble forming overhead. "Hold on!"
Dullahan hadn't anticipated having to deal with such large-scale destruction raining from the sky, but fortunately his passengers seemed to have it covered. He focused on driving onward, parting the growing sea of rubble and catching several feet of air as he escaped the worst of the attack.
Without stopping, he focused on finding another good route for keeping up with the dragon and giving his passengers a good vantage point. It worked last time, so it would be inefficient not to take advantage of the same strategy again.

'See!? See!? I heard a crunch!' 'Well, yeah, but I definitely the tail go snap twice!' 'No way! I-'
Double Dealer was not even able to finish the sentence in their own head before being flung quite a few feet away. The force of being thrown itself split Double Dealer back into two. The man and woman landed near each other, bearing similar cuts and bruises from the attack, then jumped to their feet, looking unhappy.
'God, that, like, actually hurt, and, I'm not even going to mention what our clothes look like or I'll want to cry!' 'Then let's hit this thing twice as hard as payback!' 'But first, let's get under that giant guy!'
The rubble the dragon have been lifting begin to drop, and the duo raced as fast as they could back to their position. Unfortunately for them, they still couldn't dodge all the rubble, adding to their injuries. They quickly fused again, they obviously couldn't do any damage separated! "Alright you bastard, this time we're going to actually go all out!" The fused form of Double Dealer ran away from their original position on the tail of the Dragon and used the lower fins of the Dragon to leap up, pulling back a fist to punch at the dorsal fin.

Post by Azoth on Jul 5, 2016 11:04:22 GMT -7
Azoth was out of breath by the time she arrived upon the epicenter of the fight. Just in time to see people scattering from falling rubble, and to have to run again for cover herself. The worst of it she was able to mitigate with her powers, slicing or flat out removing rubble on course to hit her. Already she was scanning the buildings around her and around the dragon, trying to get a sense for how sturdy everything was. Evidently, not very. She would begin immediately.
On her search for cover, she came across a departing familiar face and a familiar not-face. She gave a sideways glance to Khan before coming beside Anonymous. For once, she was out of her fog. She took a seat atop a large lump of concrete.
She was concentrating, small lumps of steel forming around her while the large apartment complex beside them shifted on already corrupted supports, but something, perhaps the nervousness, made her want to talk. “Do you think we’re strong enough to defeat it?” Azoth asked through staggered breaths. The formation of steel halting, she surveyed the building to their side. “Ah, this is going to take too long.” She sighed. “Watch out for shrapnel.”
The foundation of the building exploded. The several stories of stone threatened to tip, the location of the blast pushing its angle towards the dragon. Yet another small slice, no thicker than what a knife would make through butter, appeared in the wall, followed by a second explosion.
Azoth didn’t know the large super who was holding the tail - Titan, she believed his name was - but it was the dragon’s move against him that had given her this idea. One could call this a bit of revenge for him. With a final cut and a third explosion, the steel-structured building gave way to gravity and plummeted towards the dragon.

Post by Blue Jay on Jul 5, 2016 13:50:33 GMT -7
Blue Jay was not concerned with the shrapnel falling from the sky. Since he, too, was falling, he was able to avoid the worst of it. It wasn’t until he landed on the ruins of where the dragon had once been that he was hit with a rain of debris. He was only there for a moment before he launched off again into the sky, and he hadn’t been hit with anything larger than a quarter, but his jacket was shredded where it’d been hit and red was welling on the skin beneath. This was not mentioning the shock wave that replaced any sound in his ears with a high ringing. It was a good thing he’d already plotted his next strike.
His displacement placed him on the ground beside Titan. He would have stopped to make sure his friend was okay, but the best way to help his fellow Bulwark was to try to dish out as much damage as he could to this thing. He displaced again, appearing not more than a couple of feet above the dragon’s largest fin.
A large number of supers had gathered around the fin, including Lobisomem. They seemed to have the eye covered; he’d take another portion of the appendage. He made a silent apology to everyone’s ears. The one upside to feeling like one’s ears were bleeding out was a little extra loud noise probably wouldn’t do much. Hopefully.
Bringing the his sword down over his shoulder, Blue Jay struck the blade of the dragon’s fin with his own. All of his force was put into this swing, and upon the blade meeting the other, a loud sound wave rippled out from the sword. The hilt hummed in his hands. Then, from the point of contact, another shock wave erupted from the sword.

The Dragon easily sliced through her attack, then preceded to rain down tons of debris onto the town. Nemesis ducked behind a beat up SUV, covering her ears to protect them from rupturing. A few relatively small shards of stone managed to pierce her skin, but apparently most of the attack had been mitigated by other supers and their powers.
This battle was turning out worse than she ever expected. Peeking out from behind cover, Nemesis tried to check how the others were doing. She immediately frowned, noticing how Titan had taken on most of the damage from the dragon's attacks. As he was the biggest one here, they all probably needed his help to stop the monster from moving. There must be some way to help him recover from those injuries. If only it didn't require getting so close to the monster responsible.
No, that was quitter talk. It's too late to give up now. She took in a long inhale before letting the air out through her mouth. Even in the face of Armageddon, Nemesis could never surrender.
If Dragon-Shark-Gun-Whale wanted to cut through her attacks, she'd just have to work faster. This time around, several cars started their engines as her dark spirit possessed the vehicles. Nemesis sent multiple cars driving at full speed at the side of the monster's body. One truck even broke through a garage door as it rushed towards its target.

Post by HaLOS on Jul 5, 2016 14:36:24 GMT -7
HaLOS didn’t really expect the dragon to slow down; neither does it expected the creature to swing its tail around and hurled a huge chunk of debris at it. Once it finished scanning the dragon, the sudden debris appeared caught HaLOS off-guard and landed straight onto the air-born robot. It flew along with the debris for about a hundred feet before landed straight onto another building. The rubble crumble away and reveal HaLOS, miraculously still in one piece despite the collision.
It rise up from the debris and dust off the pebbles on its form before turning its gaze back at the dragon:
“Analyzing damage: 15%, minor malfunctioning in the wing. Activating repair nano-bot to the damaged section, scanning for potential hit spot.”
The crooked wing that it had Azoth built for it slowly bent back to the way it was before, and it didn’t take long for the part to become functional again. Meanwhile HaLOS observed its attack pattern, and the other super nearby to analyze a best strategy. It noticed Blue Jay jumped toward the dorsal fin of the creature with his sword in hand.
“Analyzing possible strategy complete: synchronizing attack pattern.”
HaLOS then split its arms into four appendages, each pulled out a small metal cylinder in each hand it have. With a simple pushed of the button, all four metal cylinders let out a long glowing blade made out of plasma. If Azoth make it the way its design, these blade will only last for at least a minutes or less, so it only have one chance at this.
In almost an instant, HaLOS dashed toward the fin right as Blue Jay appeared on top of its fin and started to swing his sword at it. From the outside, it would seems as though HaLOS and Blue Jay planned their strike to the point of synchronized with each other as the two strikes the fin at the same time. Blue Jay’s blade let out a huge shock-wave that almost knock HaLOS off balance, but it had already anticipated the possibility of a whiplash and anchored itself right before he hit the blade part of the fin. As soon as the four plasma blade strike its target, they all would become unstable and explode as they make contact with the fin.

Sanduleak was thankful for the mobility he had given everyone, seeing them have the opportunity to land hits while not having to worry about terrain was giving him some hope for this fight. Seeing more supers arrive was even more encouraging, even the idiot Duo attempting to attack the tail with his odd partner Titan. They were going to show this thing a new hell for what it had done. He heard his 'leader' yell and nodded, they were the ones giving the others a fighting chance and they were going to continue to do so. Then the screech and boom happened. He almost fell to the floor, vision becoming blurry and light constructions losing their durability. He wanted more than anything to help Aurora deal with debris but that massive field had required almost all his light, plus he was having difficulty focusing at that moment to gather more. God the pain was almost distorting him and he could quickly see everyone flung about or in danger as he regained his lost composure. It was a repeat, going to be a repe-NO! He refused, just like everyone else, to let this thing take them down.
"ANOTHER FLASH INCOMING!"
He yelled out, in an attempted warning for those close by before standing up fully and envisioning a better more durable arena. With an explosive flash, walls and platforms quickly began spreading and forming around and on the beast, all in an attempt to give everyone leverage and balance after the violent wide range attack. He didn't have the firepower like others but he was going to be damned if he didn't give them the chance to kill this behemoth. After he finished up, he began flashing 'roads' for Dullahan, giving him multiple options in case the beast decided to target them.

Passion had shrugged off the failure of their attack, they would not stop simply because it swiped away twelve swords. Where would be the passion in that?! Though he did step in front of Purity and quickly revealed a broadsword, one wielded by an ancient frog, which he used to slice through all the rubble that was being thrown their way. It had cleaved mountains and so made mincemeat of the pebbles. After the display of power, he immediately swapped the blade for one that almost appeared as a spear due to the long handle and heavy blade at the end.
"PURITY WE CAN NOT LET THAT NEAR PEACE WE SHALL GIVE OUR LIVES IF WE MUST! SO ONCE AGAIN WITH PURE PASSION THIS TIME! RESTRAINTS! OF! JUSTICE!"
With his passionate cry, he threw his 'blade' which quickly clouded the area as it went from being one to three to ten to thirty. Half slammed into the ground while the other half sunk into the destroyed ground around it.

It was disheartening to see the ease in which the Dragon bypassed their most powerful attack. Could this beast's ravenous hunger, or boundless hatred be stronger than the bonds of trust and friendship? Could it really sweep aside the attacks of this whole city with such ease? Even with all of their hearts beating as one it seemed barely phased.
Passion's words brought him back to the present. Peace. Peace was still at the hospital as far as they knew. And if it was heading downtown that meant that she would have to face off against this monstrous creature. It meant that countless innocents would have their lives snuffed out in an instant. And for what? Nothing. There was no point to this mindless violence that this creature brought. But Passion was right. They had to do whatever it took. Even if it meant laying down his life. He had people to protect. The people of this city. Peace and Passion.
Dahlia... forgive me.
Once more brilliant light flared around him as Passion unleashed another flurry of swords. His eyes burning bright with determination and life as he extended a hand toward the creature and the blades. Light coursing between the swords, line after line intersecting and impaling through the tail as he fought to help Titan restrain the creature. They couldn't allow it to keep moving.

As the faster supers began to catch up, the dragon's movements changed. Its tail, instead of moving back and forth in a normal swimming motion, began to move circularly, as though it were stirring something up.
Each time the dragon's tail touched one of the distortions the main body was emitting, the distortion was smeared out in a circle, resulting in a growing spiral of distortion. This spiral picked up loose bits of dust and rubble, which turned the area behind the dragon into a deadly windstorm full of small pebbles capable of punching through steel and a constant stream of high-velocity dust that could rip the flesh off one's bones.
The distortion from the tail was overpowering even outside the windstorm itself. Wide cracks spread through the asphalt as the ground to the left of the dragon tried to rise into the sky and the ground to the right of the dragon tried to sink further into the earth. Anything trying to enter from the side would be flung in a brutal arc as gravity seemed to go haywire, pointing first up into the sky, then off to the side, then straight down but far stronger than it should be.
But the damage to its surroundings was a mere side-effect. The true intent of the swirling distortion was defensive.
Arcanum's slime was picked up along with everything else, being flung into the whirlwind before it could hinder the dragon much at all. Balance's power was deflected and twisted away, only a small fraction of it reaching its intended target. The falling building Azoth dropped on the dragon was ripped apart, floor by floor, and joined the rest of the debris caught in the storm. Even Sanduleak's platforms were thrown into disarray as the space they occupied was split apart and moved around.
On the other hand, using its tail to produce that effect meant that the dragon wasn't traveling as fast as before. Stunt Double tumbled into the eye on one side of its dorsal fin, while Lobisomem clawed a path up the dragon's side and savagely tail-whipped the other. Bloodbath's lashing blood and Nemesis's possessed vehicles slammed into the already-bruised main body.
As the main forces of the supers closed in, one of the eyes on the dorsal fin went wide and bloodshot, and the area immediately around the eye erupted in spacetime distortions. But instead of being used to attack or defend, these were used to foresee. Glimpses of a hundred possible futures were visible through the holes in reality, and the dragon's eye swiveled wildly as it took them all in. It began to alter its course, moving in the way that it saw itself move in the possible futures where it avoided most of the incoming attacks...
However, Hooded Siren had snuck in close enough to see the possible futures through those distortions as well, and she could see that there were some avenues of attack the dragon simply wouldn't be able to defend against. Furthermore, as Titan lunged forward, Geata's position on the giant's shoulder was perfect for making portals to block the dorsal fin's view, blinding it to most of the information visible through the distortions.
Titan reached forward, braving the storm to grab for the tail, but the dragon wasn't out of tricks yet. It didn't slow down or charge anything up, this time, but the release of its power was no less dangerous, striking with surgical precision. A swarm of distortions shot outward toward the reaching hero, engulfing his arm completely. In an instant, the appendage was ravaged practically beyond recognition. When the distortion faded, Titan's right arm was full of enormous holes, each the size of a golfball if scaled down to human size, each hole slicing out flesh and tendon and bone with equal ease. The holes reached all the way into the right side of his chest, so numerous that there was more hole than there was undamaged tissue.
There was no way that Titan could immobilize it in that state, but he wasn't alone. The swarm of cats surged forward into the eye of the storm, and Aurora's power materialized tons of rubble directly atop the tail, completely bypassing the whirlwind. Passion's spears pierced through, with Purity's power anchoring them together and bringing the dragon to a complete stop.
With the dragon held in place, the combined power of the heavy hitters of Emerald City could finally be used to its fullest extent. Unhallow's damage against the tail was adding up into a wide bruise, and Blue Jay's attack against the dorsal fin sent a visible shockwave through the dragon's whole body. Gilgamesh's fists tore all the way through an eye, bringing forth black blood that erupted into flames the moment it made contact with the air, and the dragon thrashed as if struggling against something as it took the full effects of Anonymous's and Timezone's powers. Countless other attacks landed on the dragon, from Limen's arrows to Awenydd's sound waves to Double Dealer's superpowered fists and HaLOS's glowing blade, all as Khan came close to tearing the fin completely off. Dullahan went off a jump over the immobilized dragon and gave Giza a perfect shot to fill it with projectiles.
Even with all that, it looked as though the dragon might continue to struggle toward downtown. At that moment, one of the distortions in space and time showed Misty making her way through the dragon's recent aftermath, mitigating the damage of its passing. The dragon abruptly changed direction, spiraling straight downward, deep into the ground. Its tail was shredded even further as it pulled itself free of the impaling spears, and those hanging on were forced to choose between letting go and getting pulled down into the abyss.
The tunnel left by the dragon's digging collapsed immediately, and the supers were left to nurse their wounds and prepare for whatever their foe would try next. They had earned a few moments of peace, at least.
