Giza kneeled on the ground while choking in his own blood; the last attempt of removing some of the spores away from him hit a dead-end. Wincing in pain, he didn’t even realize that when he tried to throw the spores away, it got into a direct path of Limon on her motorcycle. Everything just went to shit the moment he got a lungful of those spores, disrupting his power even further.
Pushing away more of those spores around him, he can finally get some normal air into his lung while trying to cough out the spores away. It was then that he heard a familiar voice among the chaos around him. He looked up only to see Limen walking toward him; her left arm got some of those vines crawling out of her wound, a sign that she’s also gotten infected. Her demand caught him by surprise:
“E-Excuse me?!” he tried not to shout; his lung has already suffered enough without him tearing it out by yelling.
“Would cutting it off be better?” He started to wonder; in some of the zombie movies that he watched, sometime cutting the part where they bite you does work on some extend. Other, however, wasn’t so lucky: once you’re bitten, you’re doom to become one of them even if you hack off your infected limp. And now here she is, demanding him to cut her arm off as if it was nothing, just like that. How can she has such faith that such a brutal method will work?
However, seeing the infection started to spread on her arm, Giza got hit with a sudden realization that if he didn’t do something now, another Pandaemonium might die today. Spitting out the blood in his mouth, along with some of the spores mix in them, Giza forced himself up on his leg once again.
“No,” He thought, “I am not letting another one of my friend die today!”
Once he’s on his feet, he started to look around for something sharp; hacking a limp of is not difficult, the issue is to stop the bleeding once it was off. Right then he caught a glimpse of something shinning among the rubble: it was one of Balance’s swords that she tried to use before the dragon destroyed her with its own sword made of those spores. Determination fueled him once again as he reached out his left hand, focusing his power on the weapon with all he got, pushing himself over the limit.
The sword, in response, flew straight toward his hand and hovered three feet in the air next to him. As his nose started to bleed out of the mask, he concentrated on the sword once again, enveloping the blade in a bright blue flame. With all his strength left in him, he swing the flaming sword straight at Limem’s left arm, completely hacking off her limp as she requested. The burning flame cauterized the wound in an instant, stopping the blood from pouring out once the limp was off. She would now feel the agonizing pain, both from the cut and from the burn, at the same time; it’ll be a miracle if she didn’t pass out from the shock of such pain.
But he’s not done yet; using the momentum of the blade, Giza flung the sword straight at the bulb that he targeted earlier with all force he can muster. He can feel his strength draining away because of the spores, so this is his one only shot. It was quite fitting; that bulb created the sword-spore that killed Balance, now her sword will be the one that will destroy the flower. An eye for an eye, and this time, he makes sure that it will not miss its target.
“For my fallen comrades, your death shall be avenged.”

"Wrath no offense at all meant to you..."
Pride stood calmly next to the towering flames, she was glorious and most definitely worthy of being his but for now that wasn't what he'd focus on. He brushed off a bit of dust and ash off of his suit before suddenly raising a leg straight and glaring at the building.
"BUT WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TALKING TO!?!?!"
The moment his foot hit the ground, it was the sound of a thunder bolt hitting the ground and causing the earth itself to quake, shooting up shards and chunks of concrete into the air around him. His first strike wasn't even visible as a spike of concrete suddenly flew through the flames and impacted the building with a miniature. He used the force of his punch to suddenly spin into round housing several more chunks into the building with a shotgun like pattern of cracks appearing in the wall.
"I AM THE SIN OF PRIDE, THE DEADLIEST OF SINS, WITH HIS SIN OF WRATH BESIDE HIM...I ASK YOU HOW COULD I BE ANY MORE INVINCIBLE AT THIS VERY MOMENT"
In an instant his boast had spread his power to the surrounding sin's flames, causing them to burn even brighter and further than before while he momentarily leapt to deliver a punch to the ground, launching even larger pieces of stone into the air for him to send flying with a kick and barrage of punches. The super heated chunks were now causing spider web fractures to the coat the entire side of the building.

To say she was getting tired of this plant would be an understatement. If she could she would hold it down in acid and watch it dissolve. Her eyes roamed over it, trying to find a good point of attack. The Original Blossom didn't seem too bothered by her screams. But the creation blossom was. Sticking her pink tongue out at the origin blossom she pinched one of it's vines angrily before standing on the edge of the roof. Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves, she jumped down towards the other flower. Letting out an earth shattering scream, she fell towards it. The air rippled with the force of her cry and sent a vortex toward her target.

"Hmph you're already dead, just accept it."
Toko murmured under his breath as he analyzed the current battle conditions before suddenly something pulling, persuading, and begging him not to pull the trigger of his gun once again, and instead hug his cliente. The fact that it had even attempted to convince him of harming her had him sick to his stomach for two reasons. One was the geas they had signed prior to this contract, she was not to be harmed by him under any circumstance and it appeared that geas had served as a wonderful defense against this influence. But the bigger reason was much more personal and serious offense to the mafioso.
"...A Proiettile never brings harm to ANY of his Familia..."
To even suggest such a thing to Toko had only guaranteed an extremely painful death for the dragon as he lifted his rifle with one handand removed the Thompson Contender from his side holster with the other.
"You should've just let them kill you, now you've become not just a target...but a vendetta for me."
He fired a bullet and was suddenly gone, before reappearing right in front of the mind manipulating flower, there was going to be some vague feeling of irony that the last set of bullets he would use to kill this, would be the first super casualty in the previous dragon battle. Oh well no time to dwell on that. He aimed the rifle at point blank range this time, and fired with another sound shattering shot that sent him flying backwards, away from the sin's massive fireball. But he was far from finished. He let Mephistopheles float in the air for a moment before he tossed a bullet hidden in his sleeve, into his mouth, and using a single hand to load the round and firing it straight into the flower. This wasn't a Stunt Double round, this was an extremely personal and deadly round to the hitman.
"May you rest painfully in hell you vile rose."
Less than half a second passed as Toko loaded and fired a stunt double round to the ground, making him land a relatively safe distance as a black rose grew on the mind disrupting blossom, quickly attempting to drain whatever life it could out of the damned dragon.

Hope, lacking the vehicles of his Rein Initiative brethren due to his lateness, and clearly unable to simply run as fast as the other supers, stands within a storefront not far from the scene of the final thralls. Knowingly lacking any ability to do anything about the structural integrity of the buildings, or to even walk inside them to deal with the dragon itself; without getting himself more covered in the black spores than he already was. His white jacket is zipped up completely, hood pulled over the top of his head, finished off by a black gas mask, a futile attempt to prevent himself getting infected by anything that might've gotten close to him.
Seeing a few of the remaining supers, for whatever reason, continuing to fire upon the remaining thralls, and decides it might be fun to join in. "Should be fun. Forlorn Hope on scene... Engaging hostile thralls.". Pulling his Beretta 93 Raffica, though seeing little need for the folding stock, he raises it with both arms, staring down the tritium sights. Closing but a single eye beneath his respirator, he unloads a full array of five bursts of three rounds a piece down the street, a total of fifteen 9x19mm Parabellum rounds towards the final remaining thralls.
At this point, the sheer focus on his marksmanship would cause his main power to be unavailable. His body and nature would be completely visible to all on scene, especially those who look toward his direction as he fires the fifteen pistol rounds towards the thralls. "C'mon...". He grits his teeth, firing, though his arms are relaxed and proven. He clearly knows what he's doing.

"DAMN DRAGONS! DAMN THEM ALL TO HELL!"
Sanduleak yelled as he suddenly summoned twenty clones of himself, each flying forward with the express purpose of killing it with whatever they could create, that's their program and they would stick to it even the pollen attempted to change his mind.
"Suck it...Dragon..."
Similar to last time, Sanduleak collapsed from exhaustion and poison but this time he at least had his clones surround the bug creating flower. Each clone had the last bits of light that Sanduleak had stored, in them and were about to use it. Five turned into cannons that shot solidified beams of light into it, five turned into massive blades for another five to wield and slash with, while the remaining five separated themselves into panels to contain and constrict whatever creations the damn thing would make.

The surprise was what made Azoth’s eyes go wide, but the kiss itself was what brought the flush of red to her cheeks. She wanted to give him a reply before he departed, but her voice was stuck in her throat. By the time it found its way free, he had left, and there was little point besides personal closure. She would abide by his request. She just hoped he would do the same.
Toko was saying something, to himself it seemed, but when he mentioned his familia, she looked up at him. She knew he had had one, but she’d not heard of any of them in the city. Despite the throws of battle, fear that the dragon would give one final, deadly attack, and that Geata, now distanced from her, might get caught in it, a smile crept onto her face.
Again, before she could say anything he was gone, but nothing needed to be said. Azoth steadied her breath and focused intently on Toko. It’d taken her a moment to find him again after he vanished, but once she had, she made an effort not to lose him again. The speed required at this distance would be difficult, but it was her job to protect her kin just as much as it was Toko’s. She would not let him down.
Anything physical on course with Toko - fire, rubble, she’d even take out spores should it be required - would vanish inches before it could meet its mark. If she could keep this up, Toko would be unhindered in his own, final attack.

Post by Geata on Oct 18, 2016 14:12:26 GMT -7
The sudden elbow was quickly decided to be a fairly good reason to stop hugging. Geata was persistent enough that he could've held on, but she was still stronger than he was and him struggling to keep hugging while she pushed him away was not likely to end well. For him, specifically. He reminded himself that she was very much not a people person, so he shouldn't hold her actions against her. On top of that, they were in the middle of a highly stressful fight. It was for that reason that he didn't feel the need to give a long speech, but something still needed to be said.
He blinked suddenly, slouching ever more slightly as he picked himself up off the ground, clearly more tired than he had been a mere few moments ago as he turned to Aurora. If she was being attentive, she'd notice the communication portal nearby closed, as did all the others. "There's nothing for you to feel responsible for," he said weakly. "There isn't a one of us that aren't aware that we could die when fighting a dragon, creatures capable of destroying cities with ease. Our choices are our own, and the consequences are ours as well. You have no reason to hold yourself accountable for the deaths today, Aurora Disicio, in any way. Instead, simply use the motivation to protect everyone else, although I'm sure you already thought of that yourself." He punctuated with a wink before turning to the dragon. "As for the hugs, if you've been looking so depressed this entire time, it's perfectly understandable. I, personally, see you as a friend, even if you don't feel the same towards me. I help my friends however I feel they need it, Aurora, and we both know how bad I am at decision making. So that's the excuse I'm going with." He chuckled slightly, realizing he ended up saying more than he originally wanted. That was alright, though; more time spent actually worked to his favor.
He stepped to the edge of the building and unsheathed his sword, his stance shaky. He leveled the blade at the Horizon's building and muttered "fire" to nobody in particular.
Suddenly, several dozen portals surrounded the skyscraper, each spewing rubble the size of a person or larger. The stones had had time to reach higher speeds than he usually let them, and he was focused more on hitting everything as opposed to hitting certain things. However, the assault was only one half of the attack. Stepping off the edge, he fell through a portal and found himself inside the dragon's vessel.
Once inside Horizon's, Geata found the building to be labyrinthian. Once again grateful for the versatility of his powers, he used his portals to bypass the shifting securities, in spite of his mounting exhaustion. I'll be fine, he told himself before stumbling slightly as the rocks, which he intended to be a destructive diversion for his true attack, slammed into the building. Probably.
His plan was simple, luckily enough for his current mental state. There had to be a stem or something connecting the flowers, something that the dragon was shifting the building to protect. He was going to find it and stab it. Repeatedly. Mercilessly. And anything or anyone that got in his way would get the same treatment.
"You're making my friends sad," he called out quietly, exhausted to the brink of collapse, to the dragon. "You need to die."

Carl watched as other supers made it inside the building, and how it shifted itself to try and stop them. It shifted to protect itself from certain tactics used by certain attackers. An irritating strategy to go up against, especially with the dragon trying to take control of his mind, but one that Carl could very easily counter now.
"Big Martin, max cat-pacity," he commanded, saying the pun with a purrfectly straight face. "Bardtholomew, mass produce, same blueprints as before."
As the two summoned summons summoned more summons, Carl directed the ocean of cats back towards Blue Jay was last seen, in an effort to find the former Bulwark in the hopes of convincing him to agree to help with the admittedly dangerous plan. Once they found him, Carl wouldn't waste time explaining the finer details of the strategy.
"Command the Jay army to help us swarm the building," he said. "If there's too many of us to block off, we can distract it from keeping out other supers too." Trusting the older super to do as he was told, Carl pointed at the building and commanded the ghost of the catomancer to command the cats. "Split into large groups and infiltrate from all sides. We avenge Big Martin now!"
The cats surged forward, carrying Carl and the ghosts with them.

Zenith ended her destructive actions, pulling away from the toppling building. Her breathing rate steadily increased over the last minute or so, but she did not have to worry about overexerting herself. The battle neared its conclusion, which meant her primary role was just beginning.
The honor of being the one to end the dragon's existence sounded particularly attractive, but Zenith did not intend to claim the title for herself. For now, her goals shifted towards preserving what little life remained in the area, as well as preventing the influence of those spores from interrupting the plant's demise. Several of the gathered supers were using this opportunity to showcase their individual talents, which increased the chances of friendly fire (in some cases quite literally). Zenith planned on interfering if anyone came close to hurting one of their own. Enough lives were lost already; they didn't need to cause any avoidable injuries this late in the battle.
Cycling through the electromagnetic spectrum, Zenith used her enhanced forms of vision in order to detect any recently occurring emergencies. Ideally, no one would even require her services, but it never hurt to be too careful.

Real Blue Jay wasn’t too far from where Commander Carl was when he called for a change of direction, launching a shock wave at the building from about fifty feet up. He was preparing himself for that landing - the sword’s powers absorbed the majority of it, but it still always got that brief note of anger in his legs from making a jump from five or even ten feet up.
Astoundingly, though, this time he landed in the middle of a bunch of cats. Carl’s presence and entourage made his intentions clear, even before he gave the actual suggestion. Though that suggestion was quite the request. He looked hesitantly at the skyscraper, twisting, looking threatening, and otherwise giving him all the signs of a place he should not go into. Mostly because the building was going to fall. It looked like it was on it’s last legs, and even if killing the dragon didn’t require toppling the skyscraper, it would be toppled for the pride of the city’s supers, if not anything else.
But, Carl’s plan was as sound as anything he could come up with himself. Out of all of the supers to send into a falling building, he was pretty high up there, as it’d take some pretty thick rubble to keep him and his teleportation powers trapped. Besides, he wasn’t slotted to die today. What was the worst that could happen?
Blue Jay commanded the army of hims forward to seize the building, help other supers out (at the sacrifice of themselves, more likely than not - that that was such a viable tactic was a little concerning to Blue Jay but he tried not to let it bother him), and wrecking stuff with shock waves when they had the time. If there weren’t enough ways in for all of the Jays, his sword was very good at blasting new ones into walls. He lead the charge himself so he could personally see to the fall with waves of force on the building's insides, attempting just such an entrance on one of the lower floors with the logic that it'd be a shorter fall to the ground.

Dullahan noted with satisfaction that the dragon was faltering. This tactic seemed to be working well. It was time to amp it up a notch.
As Dullahan focused his laser beam on the dragon, more cannons came online. They added their own beams to the mix, all converging on a single point on the side of the Horizons Building. The area would begin to glow white-hot as the lasers' energy all met at a single point. Dullahan would hit this irritating monster with every last bit of firepower he could muster.

She called it. Envy knew she should've worried about more zombie attacks but directed her attention elsewhere. Everything that resulted from that mistake was entirely her fault. Sure she tried to to blast a few of the monsters out of the way, but they didn't give up until she got hit. Soon after, the motorcycle ended up crashing and the three riders were somewhat separated.
Envy struggled to get back to her feet, only slightly aware of her own injuries. The dragon's influence started to overpower her senses. What little control she had over her power was wildly fluctuating, and distracted her from focusing enough to use it properly. Her left hand moved toward her chest, to gauge how much blood she was losing, but she could hardly feel the sensation of touching her own skin.
Noticing Limen's infection prevented Envy from worrying about her own condition. Whatever pain she should be experiencing was nothing compared to losing an entire arm. The more she thought about it, the worse she felt about the whole situation. Instead of her usual sadness and remorse from failing to help her new friend, Envy became more frustrated and angry than she had in a long time. Years, even. Did this dragon think it could take away something that was hers? This relationship had only just begun, and the bastard thought it could break them up that easily?
No, fuck that. A sphere of energy appeared over Envy's head as she prepared one final attack. Her diminished control caused the sphere to grow larger than intended, but oh well. In addition to her own supply, she pulled more life-force from the thralls in the distance. This wasn't the time to hold anything back. These zombies were going to be wiped off the face of the earth.
Once she was satisfied that the enormous ball seemed large enough to vaporize any of the surviving zombies nearby, Envy released the final spirit bomb in their direction. They were going to pay for this transgression.

The world shook and shattered and turned itself end over end, blue stands of hair flying across Lust's vision as she was flung head over heels by the motorcycle crash. Her legs swung out, graceful as a ballerina even in their most panicked motions, but there was nothing for them to push off from, nothing to stop her from crashing into the the cracked and ruined ground in a painful landing that scraped ribbons of skin off her exposed palms and legs, leaving crimson lines overflowing with hot, wet blood. If not for Limen's sweater, the rest of her might have suffered a similar fate.
She didn't stay down for so much as a second. The pain was good, a different kind of feeling, something part of her wanted to try and explore some more- but her darlings had been torn away from her. Lust's eyes were wide, her mouth not smiling for once but concerned, the worry momentarily breaking through her veneer of sensuality.
The spores were too thick. She couldn't see, couldn't hear properly over the roar of battle, couldn't find the poor lost girls. Her breathing sped up, as she glanced rapidly from side to side, desperate for someone to hold on to. Where were they? Where oh where oh where-
A light shone through the clouds. Huge, round, glowing like the sun, but with a far more familiar hue, one that filled her with hope. "Envy!"
Even with her legs bleeding and her throat filling with spores, Lust raced towards her fellow Sin, tearing across asphalt and rubble with inhuman speed. She wouldn't let anyone hurt her Envy. No one. Even if it meant fighting off those disgusting things until she was coated red from head to toe, she would keep the green-haired girl safe, until the nightmare was over and they could feel each other's warmth once again.

An unexpected spike of pain in her arm caught Sin Eater's attention as she approached the blossom that was disrupting other supers' powers. She held the offending appendage in front of her, staring with a wonderous expression at the way that the dragon's spores were interfering with her healing process. Instead of knitting itself together, the gap in the broken bone had filled itself with a wood-like growth which was presently eating its way through the skin. Her arm was gradually going numb as the dragon took it over.
"This is it..." Sin Eater whispered to herself. Then, more loudly, "This is it!"
A manic expression on her face, Sin Eater spread her arms wide and called upon her power.
"Come on, come on, come on, come on!"
A bubble of pristine, undamaged walls and floors spread around her as she used her power more quickly and more strongly than she ever had in her life. All the damage in the surrounding area was drawn into her body.
But as her body erupted with grievous wounds, her normal accelerated healing didn't take over. Instead, vines and blossoms emerged from her wounds, tearing her further apart. Within an instant, it was no longer possible to discern anything resembling Sin Eater in the mass of writhing plantlike growths.
