When Kasty said that Grant had something to say, Tristan did his best to hide his interest. If he understood what that meant, considering circumstances and the previous conversation topic, it was reasonable to assume that Grant was in the same boat as everyone else in the room. It was something Tristan honestly wanted to doubt. After all, what were the odds? Extremely slim, but not altogether nonexistent.
After those two left the room, Tristan sighed. If he was right, no matter how much he hoped he wasn't, everything seemed to be agreeing with his suspicions. This only served to make him concerned about the giant meathead. As far as Tristan was concerned, Grant just didn't seem the sort that should have to worry about keeping his life a secret. He had goals and stuff, and that could easily be jeopardized by nightly shenanigans. If there was one thing to be learned from recent events, it was that everything could suddenly go wrong. It was horribly unfair for the big guy, as far as Tristan was concerned. Not that he could do anything about it, and it wasn't like he knew Grant well enough to recommend anything.
Tristan was getting more and more irritated about the situation by the second. Luckily for him, he was playing a game that was great for venting frustrations. How unfortunate for the other players, though.

Samantha didn't care her little comments went unnoticed, she rather have that than unwanted attention. Not that she wouldn't deserve it, with Charizard blazing across the stage like a damned fireball.
She broke concentration as Shane burst into a coughing fit, a brief moment of actual worry flickering in her eyes as she let her hands flicker to her covered bandages, he was hurt? This brief moment of empathy was gone in instant, her character was dying after all. "Whatever you say," She growled, pausing for a moment before continuing, "I'm Samantha...Sam...whatever you want." That had to do for an introduction, as she was not talking more than that.
She blinked as Kasty and the big guy left, almost ignoring it till she realized it was nearly right in her face. They might as well have been in the room, well, if they were going to talk so loud she might as well have a listen!

And blatant use of his powers confirmed it. Kasty was surprised Shane had just outright used his powers in this group of people who, prior to this, hadn’t even known his name. If Shane had guessed his company wrong, that might have been the most telling soda can in recent memory. Kasty guessed he could commend Shane for not beating around the bush. The hesitancy in the air was palpable.
As, soon after, Grant further confirmed. Kasty got up himself, leaving the ice cream on the floor, and followed Grant into the kitchen.
“Yeah.” He said, at least sort of trying to keep his voice down. “I’m pretty sure every person in that room is a super.” He motioned over his shoulder. He’d come to expect two out of every three people he ran into in this house was a super, and that last third was either very lost or was just going to have to be cool with supers if they wanted the low rent. “Even if they’re not, if an identity is revealed in this house, no one’s allowed to share it, resident or not. I doubt anyone’s willing to risk the half a dozen supers that would come after them if they did.”

Minnie blinked at the use of Shane's powers. Even in a house of the mostly supers that wasn't the best idea. However... She had seen that particular ability before. That knowledge and the familiarity of the voice clicked. The dots were connected and the bells ceased ringing. Was that... No it couldn't be. The abilities and the voice contridicted her assurance. The pinkette thought it over. They acted similarly, add that to the other two factoids and all signs pointed to yes. Her thoughts were interuppted by Grant and Kasty leaving to talk. She watched them leave, concern written on her features. Something was going on. With Shane's obvious use of powers were that considering revealing themselves? It was a possibility. The answer would come in time but she was just so curious. Perhaps she could confirm her suspicions with Shane to distract herself.
Standing up, she walked over and slid into an empty spot next to the blond. It was surprising how long the round was lasting. These people were amazing at the game. Perhaps the pinkette just wasn't cut out for video games. The controller she had been using was left forgotten on the arm of the other chair. After a moment she whispered,
"So am I to assume that the jolly green giant told the ray of light how to get here?"

Oh I see how it is, we aren't allowed to hear this secret meeting...freaking jolly green bastard. Shane allowed a roll of his eyes after catching his breath before noticing a worried glance and introduction next to him, causing him to genuinely smile.
"Thanks Sam, it's nice to meet ya"
She was rough and easily annoyed, but in all annoyed she seemed pleasant in his opinion, though considering his usual company that probably wasn't saying much. Shane had another chuckle at that before stopping as he noticed someone take the spot next to him as he played. Oh please don't let it be the cute girl please don't let it be the cu-...damn his good and bad luck. He barely avoided the missile that was Charizard by using a quick Doctor's Cape Flip and launched him in the other direction before awkwardly looking over. There were empty spots so she had to want to talk or something if she was sitting next to him, and that whispering just confirmed it. He had a slightly nervous blush and twitch from her close proximity instead of her actual comment. Though it did click something in his head as pieces fell together. Pink hair, very nice personallity and voice and holy crap well this kind of a nice surprise. He rubbed the back of his neck, as if she needed any help confirming who he was before he murmured back.
"Ray of light huh? Funny how he wasn't told that by his guardian angel...right?"

Grant's worries were alleviated with Kasty's reassurance. He was in safe hands here. There were people he knew that were around, and those that he didn't were guaranteed supers. That must have meant...Tristan was a super too. It was quite the coincidence that everyone Grant knew well happened to be supers. Perhaps it was just chance. It explained why he felt more comfortable around them, they were just like him, outcasts hiding in the shadows. He really wished that it wasn't the case, for them to hide who they were from the rest of society, but people hate stemmed from fear, and they needed to prove the naysayers wrong. In a way, that was Grant's true goal in the end. Acceptance.
But Rome wasn't built in a day, and they needed to work at it. Nodding at Kasty, Grant went back into the room, where he saw Shane and Minnie...talking. That awful feeling came back again, which confused Grant. Seriously, why was this happening? Making his way back to his previous spot, Grant sat silently. Was it something about Shane? Or was it Minnie?

Tristan took note of what was happening around him. Sam introduced herself to Shane, Minnie and Shane started whispering to each other, and Grant and Jay returned from the other room. Surprisingly tame, considering how he suspected everyone else was more than they appeared. He had started to focus on Charizard, harassing them with items before closing in for a kill.
He sighed quietly before turning to face the others. Judging by the looks on people's faces, it was no longer just a friendly get together. It seemed things had gotten various degrees of more serious. "So, what's the plan, party people?" He was joking, but his nervousness was obvious. It didn't seem anyone was sharing what was going on, and that made him all the more wary.

Samantha cupped her hand over her ears, the motion looking casual enough but deliberately used to muffle her hearing, she hadn't reached the point of looking into other people's conversations...yet.
She still was aware of a whispered conversation going on between the Shane and Mirneva, something about a "jolly giant" and "ray of light", what a bunch of freaks.
She finally released her ear when Kasty and Grant returned, to everyone looking grim as ever. She let out a small chuckling as Tristan raised a question that was probably meant to lighten the mood, too bad it was going to go the opposite way, "I dunno...I'm guessing nobody here has just one name."
She definitely didn't have just one name, and judging by pretty much everyone's attitudes, she wasn't the only one here in such a predicament.

When Grant had asked him back into the kitchen to confirm it was safe, Kasty had thought that would be the build up to something. Instead, he speechlessly went back out into the commons and sat down, nothing said, no announcement made.
He was starting to think that he was just going to have to be the one to do all of the talking.
Kasty strode back into the commons room and came to stand behind the sofas, not far behind Grant. He was nervous, speaking in front of this many people about a subject as secretive as this, but if someone didn’t flat out say it, they were going to be stuck with their tiers spinning for who knows how long. There was stuff to say and no point milling about when it was pretty blatantly obvious.
“Right, so we’re all thinking it. This is a boarding house for supers, and all of us, I’m pretty certain, are supers.” He paused, deciding if he really wanted to do this. He glanced at Grant for support. Well, someone had to be the first. “For those of you who don’t know, I’m Blue Jay. Since the dragon attack, Grant and I have discussed starting a group focused on countering and killing future dragons so that we can hope to lessen the damage on property and, lives. We’re, uh,” Kasty’s gaze went off to the side and he rubbed the back of his head. Nerves from talking to this many people were rising up against him and his stomach. “We’re looking for people who would be interested in joining this group. We were planning on having it in the basement here, so we thought asking around the house would be a good place to start.”

"She probably should have. It would have been easier to find her that way. Sorry. Though this means you know where to go if you need her."
Yeah, it was him. If the strange conversation didn't reveal that then his nervous tics sure did. Still adorkable even when she is even less of a threat than before, kinda made her want to giggle. Minnie watched the fight half-heartedly as Tristan attempted to lighten the mood. Which was hampered by Sam's comment. At least in her eyes. Two names might be an understatement. Or an overstatement depending on who you ask. Then again being a super is just an exaggeration of beeing human.
"I would think that dual names and the masks that come with them adds mystery to life. To make it more exciting for those who can handle it."
Grant returned to the room with Kasty a few steps behind him. There was momentary silence before Kasty opened his mouth. So they were speaking about this now hmm? No wonder Shane had been invited. She looked directly at Kasty, his nerves being a little obvious. She hadn't known he was shy. Then again despite having lived here once before her recent move in she never talked to him. He was just Nora's nephew. Her eyes looked around the room. She could trust maybe two of the people here. However that didn't mean she'd be completely stingy.
"I'll concede to being a super, though I believe I'll let you connect the dotsas to which one on your own. No fun giving you all the answers immediately."

"Might uh wanna hide the communicator then, knowing the little dealer she probably tracks it."
Shane was still slightly nervous and twitchy but had relaxed a bit as he let the info sink in, he had a guaranteed contact with an ally that was always nice, plus they knew eachother so that was liberating. He let out a sigh before running away from the item user and dragon, least he could maybe stay alive til they took out eachother a few times. Oh look their host, he thought, was back and appeared nervous...this oughta be good. Wooooooooow.
"Pfffffffffffthahahahahahaha, you're that moron? Jeez man am I glad I didn't snipe ya when I had the chance"
He was actually having difficulty playing as he laughed, this was just more relief as all the tension in the room melted for him at the very least.
"Well man am I glad someone said, I was about to yell my name, but Minnies right. Mystery is more fun and I can't trust all of you, for all I know you're spies and will kill me as soon as I say who I am."
The annoyed persona was completely gone, replaced with a relaxed gamer in spite of the info that had been revealed as he quickly went for the attack on the item user, he always hated people who spammed them.
"Also two people can in fact confirm my identity if you're gonna say somethin' bout me being unable to prove myself course I think this also happens."
After throwing a Prescribed Uppercut into the item spammer, Shane jingled his can a bit with one hand, knowing that more than a few had seen it's sudden appearance.
"Anyways, you guys are stupid but least aren't annoying so sure what the hell I'm in, we kill dragons I'm happy...but I got other stuff to do so I'm not moving in, though if ya need money that is legal call me."
He knew there were at least two bulwarks here now and that meant he would probably be unable to pay with his usual method soooooooo, legal tender it was then.

Grant continued to stare a bit at Minnie and Shane. Seriously, why was this bothering him so much? They were just two people that were hitting it off, nothing more. Well, there may have been something more, but so what? It didn't matter to him if they had something together. Actually, maybe a little. Whatever was going on, he'd be glad that Minnie was happy with someone. Still, there was a weird feeling he couldn't quite wrap his head around.
Kasty thankfully took his mind off the issue when he addressed the rest, revealing himself to be...Grant could hardly believe that he would do that in front of all of these people. One of whom was probably a member of Pandaemonium that Grant had only met probably once or twice. Kasty didn't even meet Shane until today. Then he started talking about the group. Shane seemed to be on board, and he knew Minnie was a long time ago, but Grant wasn't too sure about Tristan or Samantha. If they even were supers.
Feeling that Kasty shouldn't have been alone in this identity revealing jamboree, Grant spoke up, "I...uh...I'm Titan"

When Sam mentioned nobody only having one name, Tristan chuckled nervously. Everyone was just dancing around the elephant in the room, and the conversation was just spinning its wheels. Unless somebody addressed it, it was pretty clear that nervous tension would simply be just another resident in the house.
Even so, Tristan was surprised when Kasty flat out said that he was Blue Jay. His eyes were fixed on the floor in front of him while the others gave their "second names". They sank even lower when Grant gave his name. If he had to guess, Titan was the big guy who grew during the dragon fight. The one that had been told by a specific person that he'd be covered, and then immediately failed by said person. Tristan made a note to apologize later, but it was not the time for it then.
"I'd, uh, prefer to keep my name to myself for now, too," he said quietly, voice shaking. "Kasty can vouch for me, though, he told me about this place right after we killed the dragon. Other than that, to guys can count me in. Sounds useful." He then turned to Sam. "How about you?"

Samantha slumped back into the couch as Kasty revealed everyone here was a super, that certainly explained why everyone smelled familiar. She leaned forward and snatched a bag of chips, crunching down the treats as everyone else admitted to their super identity, finishing up by the time the conversation rolled around to her.
Her eyes flickered, briefly appearing a bloody red, "Don't worry about it, Blue Jay, I'm already on your side." Her head tilted to the others, "Most of you don't even know my name so I think I'll pass on my name." She grumbled, "But I think even a complete idiot can figure out who I am."
As if to mock this, a quick eye would see her fingers grow short claws. Her smile was also suspect, her teeth now looking at little too long and a little too sharp. Notably, she was eating at a fast pace that would suggest she was starving for some reason.

Kasty sighed to Shane’s response. He hadn’t even given his name; he had no right to laugh over Kasty’s identity. Why Grant had invited the guy in the first place was still a mystery to him, with the way Shane was acting. He had to remind himself to trust Grant’s judgement. Give everyone their due time; these were only first impressions (likely, anyway, as Shane had neglected to tell him for certain). Besides, Shane had agreed to join and that meant they were going to be allies. That required and allotted a certain amount of trust, and so Kasty would give it.
Any lingering bitterness was quickly washed away as every other single person present had agreed. Just like that, their numbers had jumped from four to six. They were starting to seem like more of an actual force instead of a few friendly supers who wanted to call themselves something cool.
But, most of all, Kasty found that his initial assessment of one close friend present was wrong. He shot a wide grin at Samantha - not nearly as impressive for obvious reasons - and felt immediately more comfortable in front of the group.
“We’re planning on meeting in the basement here.” Kasty stated. “We don’t have any dates or anything yet, but we’ll be sure to get in contact with all of you once we do.” He stepped forward so he was directly behind his very large friend. “Anything you want to add, Grant?” He asked.
