With more floorspace than that of the tallest downtown skyscrapers, this sprawling mall is a regular destination for people all across the greater Emerald City metropolitan area. Specialty shops offer everything a consumer could ask for, and the food courts and arcades allow one to hang out all day. Many of the local youth looking to escape parental supervision practically live here.

This wide road, lined with tourist attractions, is one of the major centers of the highly super-phobic film industry. More than once, neighbors have reported a supervillain attack at a studio filming only for it to be revealed that it was only some highly-realistic special effects. Using actual superpowers in the creation of a movie is against SAG regulations, of course.

With the swelling population brought on by the local economic boom, this high school is a bit overcrowded. The student base is relatively well-behaved, but class sizes are large and there's not much teacher oversight. Young supers don't appear any more often in Emerald City than they do elsewhere, but those that do emerge here feel a strong pressure to join the local superpowered organizations, often to the detriment of their schoolwork.
